Easy work for Demers. He control the distance with his jab and unleashes combination to break down Pittman and stop him late.
To early now for Pittman, he needs to sharpen up with his movement and variation before he steps back into the ring with these types. Some lesser fighters first, but the potential is there.
Pittman needs to go back to the drawing board. He fights to much like an am still. I was gutted when he lost like that and way off predicting he was a decent chance of an upset. Sturm gave him a lessen in pro boxing, beating him down. Getting a "beat down" from a fighter like Sturm does not look good on you record. If sturm could do that, than Demers probably could to. Pittman gets rave reviews from people he spars with probably because in sparring his flaws dont get exposed as much. Hopefully he can come back from this better, because he was one of our more consistently good amateurs for many years and many were hopeful he would do well in the pros.
Thats why this fight was sooo deceptive. Everything pointed to PIttman being a better, sharper fighter then he actually is. I think he should really learn from what happened though.
