this match up shouldn't be happening. you are all quick to jump on Mundines back about fighting bums, but when the Australian is the bum, you all jump on board. please be consistent.
Im a realist and unfortunetly that ever going to happen. Pittman aint a ko artist by any stretch of the imagination.Plus Mundine would more then likely school him.
Pittman has no names on his record. he does not deserve a world title shot. you all carry on when this happens if the fighter isn't australian. as soon as an australian fighter gets a world title shot, you all change your minds.
He's not a bum you wanker. Regardless its called supporting your fellow Aussie. You are the epitome of a low breed. You really are a sad human being, just a whingy, pessimistic, boring c*nt. Pittman is ten times better then the Argie rubbish Choc has been fighting.
He has no big names, but he is fighting in a pretty weak division. He is undefeated, and has worked his way up by winning smaller regional titles. As if we wouldn't be happy to see him get his shot. Not everyone is a boring arsehole like yourself.
What makes him 10 times better than the Argie rubbish? no point coming on here if you are going to be bias and inconsistent. if you are against mismatches or low ranked fighters getting world title shots, you should be against this match up.
If you had seen Pittman fight you would realise this isn't a mismatch. Ignorance is bliss though hey?
I agree with Barge to an extent. I personally feel Pittman should have at least beatan a couple legitimate top 20-30 fighters to gain a shot. Sadly his best win by far is Les Sherrington, who i would have outside the Top 50 at Super Middleweight.
Dont get me wrong MSTR i hope Pittman wins, but i think Barge feels he should have at least deserved his shot a bit more.
How am i being inconsistent? Neivas had never fought past the 8th round before fighting Mundine. He had fought only Argie bums, and had been beaten and drawn as well, with an opponent that Mundine had already outclassed. He hadn't won any regional titles either. He was never ranked before the fight, and was "conveniently" ranked at number 15 before the bout was annouced. Pittman comparatively has totally dominated all opponents. He has not fought "great" opposition by any means, but has won some smaller titles, and moved up the rankings gradually whilst staying undefeated. He is a legitimately ranked number 12 contender in the division. Yes, he could have faced tougher comp, but he is FAR more deserving then the bums Mundine faced consecutively. His ranking is due to a very weak division. John Duddy is very highly ranked, who has struggled with and ancient version of Yori Boy. This gives an idea of the current state of the middleweight division. Please show me my inconsistency here...
