Simčič circles in and punches through a Murati southpaw two-piece with his own mirrored version. Simčič has the heavier hands but isn't able to consistently land without getting hit himself. The right crosses are turning Murati's head tellingly enough to offset Murati's greater number of connects.

Round 5

Simčič is taking all of Murati's hacks on the guard and jabbing straight out at him. Murati circles and slashes away frenetically, bending his neck to avoid some of Simčič's heavy but ponderous counter punches. Murati tucks his chin and backs up whenever touched, but quickly comes right back to flurry into Simčič's gloves.

Round 6

Great deal of clinching. Simčič is hammering away with lefts and rights, landing a lot of them to the sides of the head and back as Murati bends over in front of him. Quick flurries down the middle by Murati. HEAVY uppercut by Simčič, swinging his muscular arms hard at his quandary and backing him up momentarily. Murati jumps back in and flurries off his right jab., getting blocked.

Round 7

Murati is diving in with his right arm extended overhead to jab at Simčič's eyes and blindfold him, but Simčič is swinging with big power. Curling shots by Simčič clip Murati on the way in and bang into either side of his skull. Murati keeps flurrying his way in, getting clipped, and clinching.

Round 8

Strong jabs by Simčič, light on his feet and coming forward. Hooking flurry by Murati on the way in, insistently trying to score around the sides and box Simčič's ears in. Clinch and push off. Murati throws a big roundhouse right hook and lands on the back of Simčič's head, knocking some sense out of him and forcing him to grab. Not a legal punch, so it shouldn't influence scoring of the round. Hard rights by Simčič.

Round 9

Big combo by Simčič jumping forward, left hook and right hand. Murati is now backing up more, not flurrying as much. BIG right hand lead by Simčič, pushing Murati into a corner. Left uppercut by Murati mounting a counter assault. Good combos by Simčič, plunging with the jab and right hand in succession - slow but steady...and heavy.

Round 10

Simčič jabs out at Murati and keeps him on the outside. Long right to the body by Simčič. Murati feints a few lefts to the body but pulls them halfway there. Simčič catches Murati driving through with a ramrod right jab, tapping him on the cheek with a left hook. Murati steps back and to the side, into the warpath of a Simčič 1-2. Murati steps forward with a hacking flurry, and Simčič bows his head and takes a rabbit punch. Murati is warned. Murati misses a jab.

Round 11

Jabs by Simčič. Wildly swung uppercut by Simčič, reaching out across the ring and missing. Murati swoops off to one side and comes up into a Simčič jab. Murati circles left and dives in with body shots. Simčič bends his knees and blocks. Counter hooks and rights by Simčič, but Murati is able to weave through them and hold on. Thudding wide shots by Simčič! Murati hods. Body shots by Murati. Counter left hook by Simčič, and Murati holds. BIG 1-2 by Simčič as Murati is in the corner. Murati has a point taken for holding and billygoating. Time in. Hook by Simčič.
