Round 2

Stiff jabs by Zaveck cruising ahead. Ushona rushes him with some jabs from the hip and long lunging right hands. Zaveck backpedals into a corner and then sharply turns to keep out. Now Zaveck slowly takes over the lead role, eking his way in with jabs to the body. Wild hook by Ushona misses as Zaveck pulls back. Good jab by Zaveck gets Ushona ducking. Rabbit punch by Zaveck.

20-18 Z

 

Round 3

Ushona steps in with a big hook and right hand. Zaveck blocks but is moved back a foot. Ushona keeps dancing out of the pocket, resetting, and trotting back in with hooks and rights to the guard. Crossbow bolt jabs by Zaveck when he takes his turn. BIG overhand right counter by Zaveck.

Round 4

Zaveck is spotting the awkward jerky advances of Ushona, leaning out of the way of his punches and hooking him in the face. Ushona circles with his hands low and tries to pot shot with jabs. Zaveck loads up with right hands over the top now to catch Ushona when he darts in. Clinch. Several jabs from outside by Ushona missing, just for show. Ushona lands a looping right around the left glove as Zaveck lands an uppercut in an exchange.

Round 5

Zaveck circles and puts out his left jab to get a bead on Ushona, then slams over the top with right hands to catch him on the way by. Ushona comes lunging in with jabs and rights, not very straight. Zaveck lands a peach of a shot to the kidney and then a clubbing right behind the head. Ushona almost goes down.

50-45 Z

 

Round 6

Ushona throws a lazy jab and a wide looping right, and Zaveck angles himself back out of the way before clubbing him with a counter right. They step together and exchange, and both take some forearm to the face. Zaveck winces. More big rights by Zaveck as Ushona busily hops around and jabs at him with little intent of landing.

60-54 Z

 

Round 7

Wild jabs and rights by Ushona while tracking around. Ushona slaps away at the guard of Zaveck. Clinch. Zaveck is keeping his output low, just looking for big power shots. Point taken from Ushona for headbutts. Wild swings by an incensed Ushona, with Zaveck just running backward and leaning alternately to either side to make him miss before planting his feet and banging him with an overhand right to halt his momentum before they reach the corner.
