He might if it were to happen (it won't), Canelo is on the decline. I certainly wouldn't pick him against a prime Canelo though.

I think Janilbek wins a decision. I don't think Canelo will take it though.

The big danger for Janilbek will be Canelo's left hook to the liver. This is a shot that southpaws don't like since their liver is exposed.

I think Canelo is getting close to being post prime, I still think he beats Janibek...................at SMW. I also think the Canelo that beat/lost to Golovkin beats Janibek.

He might win now but not easily. He will have to use every ounce of his skill to win. Not sure if he has the hunger anymore to push himself that hard.

Right now it would be competitive. I haven't seen enough from Janibek to convince me that he can beat a prime Canelo though.

Agree that Canelo is starting to fade. He's becoming less busy every fight.

Yea I'm not sure if it's that he can't or that he doesn't have to minus the bivol fight.

I think the inactivity poses a problem in the back half of fights he just normally holds a significant skill, power and speed advantage

This would be interesting after 6 rounds

Yep Canelo has been on the slide for a few fights now, but I still think hes elite enough to beat Janibek at 168.

Yeah, he's definitely picking his spots more.
