I would have welcomed this fight at 168, but I doubt Benavidez will drop down in weight for anything short of a Canelo showdown. You're right about Janibek, however. He's thicker than I'd imagined.
Benavidez would do Janibek in a couple rounds, and I rate Janibek quite highly. This would be a walkover
Janibek is a decent fighter but I think going from MW to LHW to fight a big dog in Benavidez may be a step too far. He'll need some time to be accustomed to the weight and beat some contenders in the LHW to make it potentially competitive.
These guys need to move up in weight properly, if that's the case. Jumping a couple of divisions at once is a mistake many have made.
