Not sure why Crawford wouldn't take the fight Janibek would have to KO him to come away with a draw, Crawford would have his obligatory heavily stacked deck with the fight being in his country with a home ref and 3 home judges, or at worst 2 albeit it would likely be 3, and he's way more experienced and is the bigger man with a 3.5'' reach advantage or at worst would weigh at least about the same as Janibek
Bud by boring decision: Postol, Madrimov, or Canelo approaches. Or possible stoppage starting with a short right hand, especially if Janibek got bold.
Errol Spence is next. Spence gave Crawford his shot and now it's time to return the favor. Crawford wasn't a mandatory. A fight versus Manny Pac would also make alot of sense. Mario Barrios and Yodenis Ugas would also be acceptable.
You were saying the same thing about Crawford before he beat Canelo. Resumes don't win fights. Janibek is the real deal, if Crawford doesn't fight him like he did against Postol he's in trouble
Janibek is the least likely 160lb belt-holder Crawford would choose to face: high risk, very low reward. Seeing as Lara and Adames both hold a 160lb strap, it's much more likely Crawford would pick one of them if he did try to become 6 division champion. My guess would be Lara for his WBA strap: the oldest and smallest of the MW champions, a very winnable fight and a way for him to cement his argument for being better than Canelo.
