Based on that last victory over Brant, right now, Kazakh vs Kazakh at middleweight, how would that go?
I think I'll take the guy with the most defences in middleweight history, no offence. Even old Golovkin should be favoured over the new kid on the block.

Hard to say whether the victory over Brant is enough of a step up to then beat Golovkin, I sorta doubt it as of now. But Janibek is a sharp puncher and a solid fighter . Probably would never happen now since GGG has a full dance card with bigger money opponents
The guy kind of reminds me of a southpaw GGG before he hooked up with Able, except GGG was more agressive.
Janibek was really impressive in easily beating the shorts off of Brant, who is no slouch. But its only one fight to measure him against. GGG is an entirely different animal, and he would be the favored to win, and most likely would.
