Which nation would you say has had a richer boxing history and has given more to the sport? Which has produced the better overall fighters, if you can nail it down to any degree?

    Well? :blood

I was thinking that while Argentina has by far the bigger names on most pound-for-pound lists, Japan might have more per capita world class fighters that have left a mark, while not having the huge standout (with the possible exception of Harada).......sort of level-loading, if you will.

I'm partial to Argentine fighters but I am pretty sure their past and depth is greater.

I think this list shows that talent-wise, it's very close, but when you add in the achievements of the said fighters, it's hard to go past the Argentinians.

More a reflection of the weight divisions they fought in and the historical period in which they fought than anything else imo.

    It's close.

Harada is greater than Monzon IMO.

Japan is less recognized because they dominate all the fly-light weight divisions which a lot of people dont pay attention to
