That's utter BS. Based on his height he cant make it?
If anything stops this guy it will be his skill or lack of skill.

Did you see the 5'11 Sherman Williams almost put the 6'6 Helenius to sleep recently?
What does height have to do with anything? It's a weight division!

He should go to CW he could make the weight without problems but even if he stays at HW I'm supporting him he's fighting tough guys early on in his career. But I really think he could do pretty well at CW

No I didn't, not sure what fight you were watching but he didn't "almost" Put Helenius to sleep, he didn't even knock him down. he wobbled him a bit, and Helenius lost his balance more than anything else.

Yeah height has nothing to do with it  which is why tall fighters with good jabs have been dominating the HW division for the past 20 years or so

Mike Tyson was short compared to the other Heavyweights but early in his career he was dominating bigger and taller guys.

Tysons prime ended almost as soon as it started.... a few good wins against a past prime Holmes, and Spinks and thats about it.. Tyson spent the early part of his career dominating guys that weren't too good, and during a time when the HW division was pretty damn bad(Much worse than todays) contrary to popular belief.

A shame we didn't get to see a younger Tyson against Lennox Lewis, I think that would have proved even more so of what was to come in the future(tall gigantic HW's with good jabs)

It's silly to say that height isn't a very important factor in todays HW division....

Helenius was caught flush on the chin and wobbled and holding on for round 6!

So all you have to do to dominate is be very tall oh ok! No skill involved whatsoever. Good.

    Haye SD Valuev
    Adamek UD Grant
    Adamek UD McBride

If Prime Tyson and Tua were around now they would win! Why? Skills. No one wins based on height.

No of course skill is involved you idiot, tall SKILLED(sorry that I need to spell it out for you) with good jabs.

Oh wow, Adamek UD'd two bums. Bravo!!! Haye ran and played cat and mouse with a deformed gigantic freakshow HW, WOW!!!

Yeah right, Tua would lose to any good HW in any era lol. Tua just had power and nothing else. I can think of several HW's today that would give Tua trouble LOL. Tyson would have serious trouble with Wlad and Vitali, not sure that he would be able to come out on top.

  9. they let the got damn chinamen fight now?

Tyson would have trouble with the guys who were beaten by Byrd,Sanders,Purrity?
Yeah sure he would. Tyson Ko'd at least 2 guys who were six foot six.
He would kill both Klits. Wladimir Clinchko and Quitali Roidko.

    YDKSAB !

In actuality, if you remove reach from the equation, when a tall fighter and a short fighter of similar skill & power face each other, the short fighter has almost all the advantages.

Try punching on a down angle sometime. You loose all your leverage. Now try punching on an up angle. Yep, your whole body is behind the punch.

Try landing body shots or uppercuts on a much shorter opponent.

And answer this simple, obvious question: All else being equal, who is likely to have the better balance, a tall 230 lb fighter or a short 230 lb fighter?

(Of course, none of this is going to help Kyotaro Fujimoto. he's way too slow & open.)
    ----------

Besides reach, the only other advantage a tall fighter has is the ability to quickly pull his head back, out of danger. Wlad has mastered this, and would have been pummelled into retirement years ago if not for his height.

Mr Tyson had a way of putting extremely horrible fighter out of their misery and saving boxing fans from the agony of watching these dead bums stink up the joint.

YES. Just like he had trouble* with a guy KTFO by Rahmen and McCall :yep
    * trouble being abused and stopped

You're a real unbiased guy JPV  picking a biased sample of 3 loses, one very early in Wlads career; another where Vitali clearly lost due to injury :-(
I could sample Tyson's career the same way to prove he was an overrated bum. Ever hear of the great Irish HW Kevin McBride?
Tyson loses to Wald unless he lands something big early.
Vitali abuses MT in a similar fashion as LL did.

Acting like a 6 y/o with made up "funny" names. Ali was as much as a Clinchko as Wlad, if not worse. So was Ali not a great HW (at least for his era) in your view?
