Japanese High School Finals

If you're wanting to see the next generation of Japanese talent, including two more Inoue brothers and the VERY touted Keisuke Matsumoto then this could be for you. It's a LEGAL stream set up by the folks who run the High School tournament and should begin in 36 mins or so (stream is live now but no fights yet).

Matsumoto is meant to be sick, they are talking about him winning a gold in 2020...that pretty much sums up the talent on display.

This tournament has, in the past, been the goal for guys like Kazuto Ioka, Naoya Inoue, Kosei Tanaka....really significant competition for folk in Japan

 

Think this is at Pinweight with Ryusei Matsumoto fighting, but not 100%

 

Also...the guy in the blue corner kept doing that with the towel in the semi final...always in the blue corner

 

Yudai Shigeoka defeats Ryusei Matsumoto 3-0 in the Pinweight final

 

Think this is the Bantamweight bout with one of the Inoue's (in red) but guessing sadly until the end of the bout when they show the scores in English

 

Pinweight is apparently 102lbs
