5-Better from Brubaker and he backs up Takayama early but can he keep this up? Nope Takayama back inside and working the body, they trade body shots but VERY little on Brubaker's shots, ...as I type that he lands one of his best shots, a number of right hands from Brubaker have Takyama shelling up for a moment, Takayama back off the ropes and straight to the body of Brubaker, borderline shot from Takayama seems to slow Brubaker. But it's a Brubaker round! The series of right hands takes it for him!

6-A good even start to the round, both picking it up a bit here and Brubaker backs off as Takayama comes forward, now a role change with Brubaker forcing Takayama back, Takyama comes forward and lands a couple of head shots, a spiteful body shot, and they are picking this up for a good finish to the round, sinking body shot from Takayama! Think Takayama there. but no argument if it's a Brubaker round

7-Big attack from Takayama, Brubaker covering up but Takayama is looking strong at the moment and Brubaker is being forced to back up, a big right from Brubaker has no effect, the body shots are still taking their toll from Takayama who lands 3 big ones, A hard right from Takayama and Brubaker's legs stiffen for a moment, a follow up and Brubaker recovers and gets away. Big moment for Takayama!

8-Takayama seems to hurt Brubaker again with body shots, Brubaker can't keep him away for long enough to catch a good breath, a sickening body shot almost doubles Brubaker over, and more follows, Brubaker has done a horrible job in protecting against the body shots, more body work from Takayama, Brubaker looks to return fire, a slapping right from Brubaker up top, Takayama trudges forward, Brubaker looking to land the right but is slapping so often! Good shot Brubaker but too little to steal the round!

9-A head clash sees both told to watch their heads, Takayama with a body shot, Brubaker with a right up top, Takayama with his own right up top, a good right from Brubaker, left to the body from Brubaker, Brubaker full of confidence now and is show boating in the center of the ring, Takayama with a slapping right hand, the open scores seem to have sapped Takayama of his desire and Brubaker enjoys a really good round. Takayama is bloodied from a cut over his right eye

10-Takyama seemed to be hurt for a second and the referee warns him for not hitting with the right part of the glove, Brubaker going after Takayama now and is throwing big shots, Takayama forced to fight back but looks like a man fighting on empty, big body shot from Brubaker, referee looks at Takayama's eyes and seems to be looking for a reason to step in, Brubaker turning it on and Takayama just throwing enough to keep the referee from waving it off, big round from Brubaker!

11-Takayama trying to turn this around and is unloading! Brubaker tagged hard and the crowd believe in their man but Brubaker uses his feet and gets out of ranger, Brubaker regains his composure and lands some solid blows of his own...Brubaker down! Big moment for Takayama! He was up quickly and didn't seem hurt but that's what Takayama needed!

Yes. It will be on boxingraise, who are living streaming it. A months access to their website is 980yen ...so about...$9/£7...much better value than PPV!...and you can go and watch Otake Vs Kogawa whilst on there!

I wouldn't mind subscribing if I could have 1 location to get ALL of the fights out of Japan. Obviously if the price is reasonable.

12-Brubaker has recovered well and he's in control through the first 90 seconds, Takayama will need another KD to secure a draw I suspect and he's simply not doing anything! Final minute...Brubaker comes forward,Takayama turns Brubaker and unloads, then Brubaker turns Takayama and repays the favour! Takayama trying to turn it around with 30 seconds left, Takayama unloading and Brubaker does a pirouette in the middle of the ring.

    Brubaker celebrates, Takayama looks disconsolate

    We have a split decision...115-113, 113-115, 115-112 Brubaker!

Doesn't have all the fights, not even close, but appears to have the best of the non-televised stuff (this card and the Ken Shiro one live, the Hosokawa, Maruta and Kazuki Tanaka, Kyotaro shows on 24 hour delay). Waiting for them to announce the next months shows.

I'm really interested in Ken Shiro, Daigo Higa Kosei Tanaka.
Obviously all of the Ohashi gym prospects too.

Is there a Japanese boxing sub forum or some place you could link me to?

There are so many people covering everything else that I wouldn't mind meeting some folks that focus on Asian Boxing. Cheers.

(you can pm me but I might not be able to pm back because of my post count)

    Cheers, thanks for the thread.
