I'm sure it flashed up on the above ring scoreboard when the camera was panning round..... I can remember seeing 39-37 somewhere. It was a really brave effort from Munroe taking those whacks to the body...... he usually holds them alright but the Jap was bang on pretty much all the time.
Some WBC fights don't have it..... it wasn't done for Froch vs Dirrell (or Kessler) for example. I'm sure Roger Tillerman is very grateful for that..... having Kessler 7-1 up after 8 :-(
The cards are announced at the end of the fight in any case... You could have the crowd booing the open scoring if the home guy is losing a close fight and put that doubt in the judges mind.
