I'll give them the benefit of doubt and I hope and suspect they will bow to the pressure of 1 billion + furious Chinese boxing fans and the people's leader Xi Jinping are exerting on them as we speak

Zhang is going to be the next Yao Ming in terms of popularity.

Yes. He sold more PPVs for one fight than combined number of sales for every PPV event in the history of PPV boxing

Big Bang is the face of boxing.

How do you rank Parker at 10 when Joyce beat him?
You also have Hrgovic at nr 5, someone who Zhang had a very close fight with.
I get why you would drop Joyce so low, but it doesn´t make sense to have Parker above him. Parker has since beaten only a fringe cruiserweight.

First a caveat: I had Parker, Hunter and Whyte all higher than Hrgovic and Sanchez until recently.
I dropped Joyce from the top 10 for losing to someone who was previously outside of the top 10 and had damn near lost to a Journeyman
When Parker lost to Joyce they were both top 10, so it was enough to drop him but not out the top 10....
when Dillian lost to Fury, he lost to the champion again enough to drop him but not out the top 10.
Hunter's "draw" vs Forrest caused him to take a hit, again enough to drop him but not out the top 10.
I already had Filip in the top 10 as well as Sanchez so basically it was musical chairs with those 5.
Zhang now has a better win than Parker, Hunter and Whyte so he also moves ahead of those 3.

I admit to it being a work in progress, and yeah I can definitely see Parker not deserving to be in the top 10 at all since I took Joyce out (I can also reason Hunter not being in with his draw/loss to Jerry Forrest, but then Zhang has a draw/loss to Forrest as well). Someone has to fall somewhere.

I get what you are going with, I just disagree. I don´t see how you can have Parker above Joyce as he just lost to Joyce.
I think by your standard, they should both be bumped out of the top 10. Joyce lost to someone outside of the top 10 and Parker just lost to Joyce, who just lost to someone out of the top 10. I think that type of rule-set should apply to both of them.

Zhang definitely deserves a top ranking on your list. He had a very close fight with one of the top 5 in Hrgovic and he upset another top 10 opponent in his next bout.

After we get past the first four guys at heavy it becomes a real **** show and subjective. I guess the bottom six would be Hrgovich, Zhang, Joyce, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker (in whatever order you like)

With the next crop coming up/on their heels
    Wallin/Ajagba/Dubois/Anderson/Sanchez/Bakole/Makhmudov/Jalolov

Then you got the guys who can't get the fights or are stalling like Dycho/Zhan who if given the opportunity could get into the top ten

Then the stalwart old guys who could sneak in if they upset someone in Ortiz/Takam/

But really what I see, besides a few instances here and there. Are a lot of guys not fighting each other.

Put his ass in there with a Hrgovic or Gassiev and he’ll be humbled real quick. Never mind the top top guys.

Given jerry Forrest is his best win I find it somewhat peculiar.
