I've seen people circle jerking over this guy for a while. He was unimpressive vs Charles Martin. Couldn't even KO an over the hill Charles Martin, and at times was hurt. Even 60 year old Ortiz could KO Martin, who's best win was Washington. He has no defence and is basically just a better version of Babic. Will be a good entertainer but will get destroyed against a decent TOP 10 fighter.
Don’t hate on Anderson. He looked bad because Charles Tha God Martin is one of the greatest HW’s of all times. Rumour has it, he once killed two stones with one bird.
He won't be the best, but he has improved over the past years and he will get better Still hasn't found his style at the pro's I think JA will need at least 4-5 more years to reach elite level, if he doesn't fight Zhan in August who will make him retire
His a US hypejob. Just another guy who will be guided to become a champion, and that's only if he don't retire before that.
Lol while I too am not sold on Anderson, he's definitely better than Babic. At worst I think he'll end up Joseph Parker level, so fringe contender type who might pick up a title if it's vacant or held by someone weak and I think he's better than Dubois. Not sure Dubois could do much better vs Martin based on how he looked vs southpaw Lerena, in fact he might do worse until his power bails him out.
I've said this over the past months, As someone who seems to be one of his mail pullers on here: He doesn't suck, he ain't top 10 or 15 yet. He has a lot of work to do. He still fights kind of amateurish. The Martin fight was one of the best things that could happen to him. Showed where he needs growth and how he needs to react when someone doesn't fold against him.
Sadly he's not big enough / good enough to fight the way he does. I was really hyped on him too under the Martin fight.
Jalovov is the real HW terror that's about to hit the division like a meteor. Arslanbek would stop Jared.
He simply hasn't fought enough to get the experience to handle different styles and situations yet. 14 ko'ed stiffs has only padded his record. I think he should consider a new trainer and management that will keep him active. I'd like to see about 9 or 10 more fights against progressively better competition before writing him off. P.S. Imagine this forum in the 60's, Cassius Clay was just dropped by Henry Cooper. So now he's just a bum waiting to be ko'ed would be the cry.
