After ESPN's Mike Coppinger published a video on X (formerly Twitter) in which Hrgovic tells Parker he accepted his offer, Anderson shared the video on the same social network with the description: "When I said something, then he went silent".

It is all so boring. It is impossible to box every fighter who says your name. Of course he was silent, he didn't want to fight you.

But the only ducks in boxing are against your #1 contender or in a career-best payday which is also better than the one to hand. It's all about social media clout, so fair enough, but why should anyone who knows about boxing or follows it seriously even care?

    Er. that's not what happened.

Anderson is the one who started running his mouth about Hrgovic with literally zero provocation from Hrgovic's side and when Hrgovic caught wind of it he called him out to come and spar him

Now Anderson decides to pipe up after Hrgovic opts to fight J-Park, who is ranked #4 (one place above Hrgovic) by The Ring, is a former world champion, is coming off a big upset win over The Dosser, and is far more proven and credible than Anderson.

Hrgovic has his band of merry haters but say what you will about him he ain't the type to be intimidated. Why would he be worried about Anderson when he was going to war in the gym with murderous punchers like Wlad, Haye and The Dosser when he was still a bambino, fought loads of the best SHWs in the world in the amateurs, fought the murderous punching Big Bang in the pros, has been calling out the big names for years, and was prepared to fight anyone in the IBF top 15 rankings when they were trying to secure an opponent for him?

And yet the best fighter who was willing to fight him was ranked 350 in the world?
So 349 other fighters turned hm down because how scary he is? Yeah right, just a hype job until he gets some bulk in his resume.

Call them out, run away when they call your bluff and then pipe up again when the opponent has moved on. That's the slick American boxer strategy.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm talking about when they went up and down the IBF rankings multiple times trying to find an opponent for him and they all turned this ''hype job'' down even though the prize for beating him was a guaranteed title shot. This actually happened.

And this ''hype job'' has just accepted Ring Magazine #4 ranked J-Park's challenge when he's ranked #1 by the IBF and guaranteed a title shot in his very next fight if the IBF don't put their vacant title on the line for that fight

So they went up and down the rankings all the way to 350 before anyone said yes to fighting him? Get a grip. There is a big difference between saying yes I’ll fight joe Parker and signing the contract. I guess we will see.

    Are you high on methamphetamine?

They went up and down the IBF's top 15 rankings multiple times and every one of them turned the fight down even though they were guaranteed a title shot if they beat him. You can argue what their reasons for doing so were but not that it didn't actually happen. He was prepared to fight any of them and would've had they accepted.

Yes we will see. Thing is he doesn't have to even fight anyone because he's guaranteed a title shot next if he just sits on his ass for until the summer

So he probably should have sat on his ass rather than fight the 350th ranked fighter on the biggest card of the year, because it’s frankly embarrassing. And I wish I was on meth as it would make mowing the lawn a lot easier in this damn heat.

If he's that keen I'm sure a contract can be written up for Anderson to fight Hrgovic after Joe Parker? The Saudi's would pay for that!!!

Okay Jared. Parker's out & you're in. Get yourself over to Saudi for the next big show & we'll see how you go. And no, you can't fight Mark De Mori.
