Jared Anderson vs Andrey Rudenko is set for August 26th

Stay busy fight, shouldnt be much pressure maybe he can work on a few things. I think Jermaine Franklin would be a good step up opponent for him.

 

He’s about 24. When is the “kid” cut-off?

It’s good to stay active but he’s facing bums.

 

I'd say he's still green for another year or so. And if you fight 5 times in 12 months, you are going to be fighting some journeymen. It has always worked that way.

I'd hope that in December-January he fights another step up opponent. He's ahead of the curve for his age, regardless.

I love his activity, the more you fight the more you learn if the match making is there.

 

Yes it's a step down, but it's a month later, so I've no problem with it. Plenty of old school heavyweights would fight months and sometimes weeks apart, and it wasn't always a steady upwards curve. Rudenko is tough as nails and quite a canny veteran so unless he's washed up or paid off it's likely he'll take the Viking the full ten rounds.
