Ortiz is about 83 so I'd bet on Anderson at this stage.

I think Jared Anderson's Management would be wise not to put him in there with Luis Ortiz.

Ortiz from the Ruiz fights legs and chin looked pretty shakey, but he might have had the skills to pull off a win. I'd have to think hes slipped too much since then.

Ortiz's chin seems pretty shot. Dropped by jabs from Charles Martin. Dropped by shots that didn't look to crazy against Ruiz. I'd expect Anderson to use his youth and just overwhelm Ortiz.

Ortiz is still dangerous, it's just his punch resistance is gone. He can still take punishment though.

Took massive shots from Ruiz and hung on and and only narrowly lost due to knockdowns.

I think Anderson is a bread and butter heavyweight, he sticks to whet he knows, nothing wrong with that lol, the one two, the good defence, the good footwork, good power.

If I was to assess that mehry guy, he was a blown up cruiserweight albeit he had some fast hands, good fast twitch muscles, speed, I believe he brought his power up to hw. But in the flipside, he had a short reach, and didn't gamble much. It's hard for a young good fighter to look good against him because he showed up just to survive.

Tim Bradley said "he showed up for a paycheck only "

Anyway sanchez is a very timid hw. Very alert defensively but not agressive offensively. Lol he doesn't go for the ko, the non killer - no killer instinct.

I think if Anderson coasts and fights a responsible safety fight he can outpoint the Cuban just as long as he doesn't get hit with a big shot.

Oops I just realized this was about Ortiz: so yeah, I'll do a retake later if I think of one lol, for now sorry about the miscommunication

Prime King Kong Ortiz (which was a long long time ago I grant you) smokes Anderson. Too skilled with decent power.

But the current 60 year old Ortiz ? I reckon Anderson would have too much . He'd out work the old man, tire him out and late ko.

Anderson KO and early, Ortiz is ancient beyond mortal comprehension.

Ortiz is being dropped by jabs at this moment. He's like 80 years old. If Anderson hits him flush, he may be carried out on the stretcher. And he will be hit by him no doubt. I don't think the skill alone can bring him the victory.

Anderson by stoppage, but Ortiz is dangerous, sparring with Sam Langford has brought him a lot of good...

Surely there should some kind of laws against a guy who is clearly in his mid 50s and shot to bits from boxing professionally.

Shockingly I saw he actually fought in January of this year.

Anderson would knock him out easily.
