This would be a very decent crossroads fight for both, i was never sold on Dubois whereas a friend of mine was a massive fan but once his power failed against Joyce he mentally and physically was broken apart, Anderson from what little ive seen seems to be very active alot of spent energy early and will be interesting to see what happens when dragged into later rounds. The smart money would be on Anderson i feel.
They probably trade knockdowns along the way, but Dubois probably is a little more dynamic and a far bigger puncher and ppossibly hs the better chin, since he was able to withstand some pretty heavy shots from Joyce. So... I heavily lean towards Daniel. Anderson is a thoroughly unproven hypejob and I've yet to see anything to convince me otherwise. Hell, Dubois was more impressive in losing than Anderson in winning.
Both have power and neither have a great defence so would be a decent shoot out. Dubois has a very good jab which is the main reason i favour him. Anderson has fought literally noone so far.
Anderson is less robotic and more athletic than Dubois. He looks bigger too frame wise. Could go either way at this point but I think Anderson has more future upside.
Anderson is very unproven, but he seems a lot looser in there than Dubois. I think he's the real deal and I would pick him to KO Dubois
Anderson looks faster and has a more complete skill set, but Dubois is more powerful and dynamic. I could see Anderson's speed and skills out boxing Dubois but we haven't seen him in with anyone good and with his wide stance and low guard I'm not sure if he's be able to prevent Dubois walking him down, getting him onto the ropes and taking him out. Joyce has better lateral movement and a better jab than Anderson while Anderson while having quick feet doesn't move a lot, let alone laterally he relies more on head and upper body movement to evade punches and that's dangerous against a puncher like Dubois. I need to see Anderson in vs an opponent that actually takes it too him and makes him back before I'd be confident of picking him against Dubois. But then again Dubois hasn't shown us anything new since his defeat to Joyce. His basic skill set isn't difficult to overcome as long as you don't get caught on the ropes where he can be lethal.
Did you used to train/still train at Hove ABC? Off King's Esplanade? If so what do you think of Tom Welch's career so far? Random questions I know.
Dubois is now failed and broken. After that KO, he won't be the same fighter. He will probably either devolve into a journeyman or retire before the age of 30. Anderson would brutally KO Dubois and speed up this process.
I'd make Anderson a 3 -1 favorite, it'd take a big shot from Dubois exposing a weak chin for him to get the W.
