Difficult to say, as I think Dubois would come to win. But I think Anderson would put too much consistent pressure on Dubois, and if he can't hurt Jared, it's fair to say Daniel would look for a way out in the later rounds.
This would be a really good fight, but I give Anderson the advantage because he has heart and is not a quitter, Dubois could go down at the first opportunity when Anderson launches a punch...
Dubois has all the tools to win, but right now Anderson would want it more and believe more and thus win.
Dubois. Anderson has a number of flaws, he's not really ready for a top 15 guy yet Disclaimer: I am an Anderson fan but I'm also non bias with my critiques
I'd actually give Dubois a chance. Not because he's the better fighter, but stylistically he might be problematic for Anderson. Anderson isn't a counter puncher, which means just like Parker who was another fast fighter who didn't counter punch, he needs to lead and is best when his opponent stands in front of him or is backed up. Dubois will press behind his jab and with his size and power advantage I don't see Anderson being able to back him up and so will be backed up and that will take away much of Anderson's offence, he will be limited to fighting in spurts when Dubois isn't throwing and allows him time to set to throw. That along with Anderson's defence where he leans back, away from shots, I can see him pinned to the ropes and getting caught. Dubois is also at his most effective when he has an opponent on the ropes. Dubois probably stops Anderson.
Dubois ko. Anderson has poor balance and Prince Chuckles exploited that and had Anderson in trouble at the end of a couple of rounds. Dubois has much better fundamentals and also more power. I like Anderson but he's not even top 20 level atm.
I’m rolling with Dubois here, by all rights he should be unified champion now, yes there’s 10-15 who could probably beat Dubois but Anderson isn’t one of them not one of them yet at least not most the time. Let’s remember Anderson is packing a soft jaw at this level too but he’s not as powerful or good at combos. Richard Torres beats both now imo.
Anderson, by ko, the way he was beaten by Usyk leads me to believe Dubois is on the cusp of being a gatekeeper.
Considering he's never even beaten anyone who could be regarded as a gatekeeper that's actually a step up in class for him, lol. I think after an easy comeback fight he should look fight Parker next. Parker is still marketable in the UK and both need a name opponent to get them back in the mix after damaging defeats. Winner moves on to bigger and better things, loser is relegated to gate keeper level.
