Look at boxrec I think it has his amateur career down as 25-3 including a loss to Richard Torrez. Boxrec normally has incomplete amateur records so he could have had double that many fights.

    EDIT

    https://boxrec.com/en/box-am/861332

There's a link to his amateur record on boxrec, 23-5.

One thing about cutting Anderson slack because it's only his 15th pro fight, ect ect.

I get that he was 26 vs Andersons 21, but, Mr fabricated, Mr coddled, Mr Stiff bodybuilder, Mr gets no respect from boxing fans fought an undefeated Martin under much brighter lights and a lot more pressure, and Mr phony completely annihilated him.

This fight likely has more to do with Andersons level, than his inexperience.

    That might be incomplete though.

From what I've read Anderson seemed like a relatively accomplished amature?

"Among his amateur accolades, Anderson won the U.S. National Championships in 2017 and 2018, the National Golden Gloves in 2017, the Youth National Championships in 2016 and the Junior National Championships in 2015"

    https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/27694695/amateur-heavyweight-anderson-joins-top-rank

I suppose it's possible to do that being 23-5, but also probably plausible boxrec doesn't have all his amature fights on record.

I didn't catch the fight, gotta see replays but Anderson generally doesn't have huge power while Joshua does/did. Anderson is more of a boxer type, did he struggle during the fight, or did he just not get him outta there?

"he could have had double that many fights"

At least. There are fighters with hundreds of amateur bouts but only a few or a few dozen are listed on Boxrec.

Boxer type? Only seen Anderson twice but seems to me he just loads up on bent arm shots constantly and telegraph's most of them. Doesn't even really put combos together.

Damn, I gotta see the highlights. I had high hopes for Jared, not a good look if he's getting stunned by bum ass old Martin.

Anderson is 23. A weird narrative has been manufactured that he's 21.

In fairness, Martin has improved over the years and came to fight rather than quit. He fought Joshua on less than 8 years of boxing experience, he has 15+ now.

But Joshua's power certainly looks a lot better than Anderson's.

Probably why he was crying in his moms arms, post fight in his dressing room. That's kinda sad but it was funny because the espn clowns were still trying to explain why his performance was great and that he's still the best thing since sliced bread as the cameraman was showing it.

Badly rocked and out on his feet for most of a round, then the second time, he was stunned and saved by the bell. Had this been a 12 rounder, he'd he probably been KO'd.
