Can do that, yes. You are right actually. Will bring him experience only, but for what is worth - he needs it.

Yeah the Mak man looked pretty awful, really crude and kind of sluggish-looking. Wasn't a good performance to phone it in like that, even if he got the win way inside the distance.

Honestly I don't think Anderson has anything to be ashamed of with his performance. Everyone knew his flaws going in, and they were on pretty full display last night, but to his credit he came back from a torrid fifth round to more or less sweep the rest of the fight. It was the type of tough experience building fight that young up and comers need to help bring them down to earth and realise they still have a lot to learn. The question is whether VP applies that experience to become better in the gym or just chalks this down to a bad night at the office and doubles down on his flaws. I kind of suspect the latter but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

It's seems that most see Makhmudov as very crude and limited but this guy could get far on pure tenacity & power. He kind of reminds me of 70's George Foreman with those vicious clubbing shots but not many were clowning Foreman at that time (except Ali, verbally). The difference between George and Makh is that George obliterated a smaller ATG HW in Frazier but Makhmudov had issues with Takam.

It could be that he has issues with smaller movers, but he also looks to have advantages against the slower taller fighters. He could pose problems for them. Makh vs Wilder, Joyce, Zhang, Jalalov, Hrgovic, and even the new cautios AJ would be entertaining as ****. There's always a market for huge powerful fighters that bang and don't run around.

He's not great Anderson is he and he isn't a big HW as well.. if I were you folks I would treasure the last dregss of this current lot for all its worth because the next era is going to be f****** awful .. Anderson should be wiping the likes of Martin out but nearly got KOd .. yea hes 23 but ppl give Fury **** for being 20 & struggling with McDermott while being pro less than a year.. Anderson's been pro 4 years too.. Martins been a running joke at HW for years.. now ppl think it's a respectable test all of a sudden lmao

Nice series of Vids. I agree he has the power to KO anyone and his uppercut is deadly as shown last night. One of the more intriguing HWs out there.

Arslanbek will never be fast, but he can compensate with size and power. What he still lacks is a more polished technique, but being 34 I am not sure he'll have it.

In Martin's 7th fight he drew (and probably got a gift decision against) Alvaro Morales, that was a very non-shopworn version of Martin but I don't think that version was nearly as good as the one we've seen in the last few years. Martin came to the sport at 22, had relatively little experience when he fought Joshua in a huge fight away from home and he froze. I think Martin has improved significantly over the years and I was saying that before the Anderson fight.

This isn't to say that Anderson is what he's been hyped up to be. But I think he's gone from being overrated to underrated.

Martins awful. Can’t throw combos and paws with a backhand. Comical.

What? Fury beats Makhmudov EASILY. All wrong for him, just too good overall.

Fury would beat Makhmudov 100 times out of a 100
