People whine and complain about Daniel Jacobs and others endlessly. Add Hurd to the list. But if you make weight, you make weight. Nothing more to it.

Derevyanchenko isn't a true 160lbs'er, he should be fighting at 154lbs

Oh and btw, I think Hurd beats Derevyanchenko. His smaller size makes his life harder against a guy with the frame of a light-heavyweight.

But out of all that attributes weight bullying is the lest prestigious way of winning in boxing. Because categorization of boxing is through weights. There aren't subcategories of punching speed, stamina levels. It's the weights that separate the boxers and stop them from fighting each other.
The only feeling I have after this fight is a massive respect for Lara for his skills. I scored a win for Lara btw. 114-113 or maybe one more round for him.

except Jacobs didn’t make a weight that he knew Golovkin was obliged to. I’m not whining or complaining, just used it as an example of what actually constitutes an incidence of weight-bullying, as opposed to Hurd. What was more to it is the IBF changed their rule.

So let me get this straight, everyone wanted GGG (who's completely comfortable and normal sized at MW) to move up and face Ward to challenge himself.

No one wanted Canelo (who was killing himself to make weight) to move up and challenge himself.

And now no one wants Hurd (who's clearly a Super Middleweight) to move up and challenge himself.

Okay, got ya! No double standards to be found here.

Hurd made weight by coming a pound under the limit. Didn’t look drained at all. He’s young too, has 2 belts, is gunning for the third. Then plans on going to 160

What's that have to do with my point? GGG makes weight fine, ALL THE TIME, and is an average sized MW.

You said that no one wants Hurd to move up. All I’m hearing is how he’s a weight bully. As for ggg he’d be a midget at 168 lol

Jacobs gave up the chance to win one of the titles so he could cheat on weight, he refused to do the extra weigh-in, Golovkin did not....................Jacobs is a cheat and still lost the fight.....................Hurd? Well, he was twice the size of Larz, how could they have been the same weight? Didn't look right, something is wrong.............

Of course he would be, that's my point. For a long time all I could hear from some posters is how GGG should move up and face a gigantic Super Middleweight in Ward in an effort to "prove" or "test" himself. But when there's calls for guys who clearly can't make the weight anymore like Canelo or monsters who should probably move up, because Middleweight would clearly suit them better like Hurd, oh, aghast, shock, how dare you! Leave them alone, let Canelo fight at Caneloweight all he wants, make up his own division, what the hell. And oh.... Hurd is fine, leave him be.

Here's the reality, many posters on here hate GGG with a passion and wanted him to move up so he would lose to Ward, that is the one and only motive behind the calls. I knew that's what would happen, and they knew what would happen.

But the same people who hate GGG and love Canelo and Hurd, also know they' would or will falter and lose when moving up in weight, like Canelo just did, and got a gift. For the very same reason they wanted GGG to move up, they DON'T want Hurd and DIDN'T want Canelo to move up.

    185cm 193cm reach
He is bigger than 90% of Light heavyweights.
I hate boxers like Turd, basically boxing bullies, Turd knows if he fought men as big as him he would have more losses than wins
