Caught up the latest fight vs Stanionis. I saw him take a few lazy shots due to ill discipline. Calculated risk, endangerment.

I would hope he ups his game vs better opponents like Ortiz or it's going to be a short night.

Yes he won every round and stopped Stanionis in 6 without getting wobbled or dropped like several guys at 154 already have, complete nonesense to deny. Someone like Bohachuk was knocked cold by adams

First, he wasn't knocked out cold, he was TKO'd. Second, he was coming off of having Covid a mere 2 months before, which caused the fight to be rescheduled. Clearly the man has solid whiskers when not compromised.

Again, you think Boots won every round so there's not anything anyone could say to you. He did get stunned once, and frozen multiple times by other flush punches from 147 light punching Stanionis. Why even talk about 154, no one knows if Boots will have any power there and evidence shows that he will get more than just dropped if he takes flush punches from the top guys. There's no shame in getting dropped against heavy punching fighters your size, the 154 division has a lot of great fighters.

Bohachuk would absolutely destroy Boots at this stage, Boots needs to get used to fighting guys his size at 154 and get better defensively before he fights the likes of Bohachuk.

Complete nonesense go back in the rbr and read the cards no one agrees with how you scored the fight and Stanionis won 1 round at best. Ennis dominated the fight and Stanionis didn't stun Ennis one time. It's all coming from fantasy land these observations.

Boots would destroy Bohachuk lol stop it. Tailor made

I think he won every round vs Stanionis but not sure he'd beat Bohachuck. It'd be a good fight

You hit it spot on. I totally agree.

Yea, now that you bring it up. This match up makes me think about Loma vs Rigo. Rigo at the time was one of my favorite active fighters. He faced Loma who wasn't doing a lot of damage, but was mentally breaking Rigo with his confidence and showmanship. Had Rigo and his corner feeling that no adjustment could be made to get the upper hand.

Many fans don't understand the attribute of having a mentally elite opponent in front of you. An opponent you can't break and/or who drains your confidence in your own ability and effectiveness as the fight goes on. I look at how Shawn Porter looked in his knockdowns vs Crawford compared to his knockdowns vs Spence & Broner.......none of the knockdowns were brutal. Spence and Broners knockdown of Porter was more of a flash knockdown than anything. Crawfords was a matter of perfect timing and accuracy......... but Porter after getting up vs Broner and Spence, we saw the confidence still there. Arguably, he won the rest of the round vs Spence. But vs Crawford, the first knockdown Porters eyes were locked on his corner for answers. The 2nd knockdown I saw Porter broken. Banging his glove on the mat before coming to his feet, ultimately his corner threw in the towel.

Mental strength is a hard attribute to coach.

    What?...........

Without reading your argument...... This comment alone just sounds crazy....... A man who gets hit so much by smaller fighters, went 24 rounds with a guy name Karen, doesn't need to improve to "terrorize" the 154 division...... That comment is laughable at best.

Nobody he's face is of the caliber of Vergil Ortiz, Murtazaliev, Crawford, Fundora, Bohachuk, Zayas, Charlo, or Madrimov..... No one who knows anything about this sport would suggest that Boots is a finished product in regards to being able to dominate a bigger division. Hell, the guys he's beating at welterweight are former lightweights. The 154lb division has multiple guys who dropped down from middleweight and a couple light heavy.

Hopefully you don't think that Karen, Stanionis, and others have the same punching power as those guys........ Let's not give Boots an award for his chin just yet.

    I'm betting on Boots
    Factual huh..
I've seen guys up there get hit more, guess who was the first guy to hurt Ortiz ?

The notion Boots getting hit more than normal and "therfor" being more vulnerable, yeah it's an illusion

That's cute you are deflecting. It's expected..... not problem. I'll address each response.....

    "I'm betting on Boots".......
That's perfectly fine with me. NO WHERE am I suggesting you'd be a fool for not supporting him. I've watched him since the amateurs. Clearly he's talented. I'm just stating that he hasn't arrived yet and the competition that his diehard fans are pushing to prove he's elite is laughable.

    "Factual huh"........
Feel free to point out what I stated that can't be found on the timeline and/or isn't documented. I've been waiting on just one of his minions to get off of the "everyone is avoiding Boots" campaign and face reality that he never had anything to bring to the table for the "names" he was calling out, thus why would those "names" entertain a matchup with him when he wasn't a major draw, didn't have a title, and wasn't a legacy fight. He then becomes a champion via email. That only changes the title in which he is announced. There were 3 other champs in the division. He, again, did NOTHING to suggest he deserves a 60/40 split over any of the other champions. And now most recently, he has become unified. We'll see what Eddie does to negotiate is next fights.

Rather than giving me a goofy response, how's bout you point out what exactly I said that wasn't factual. I'll wait........

"I've seen guys up there get hit more, guess who was the first guy to hurt Ortiz ?
The notion Boots getting hit more than normal and "therfor" being more vulnerable, yeah it's an illusion"........

First of all, if you are going to rebuttal my statement, how's bout you first comprehend what I said and actually respond to my stance, not make up something I didn't say and run with it. No where did I say that he GETS HIT MORE THAN NORMAL. My stance has always been that he isn't as elite defensively as what he is hyped up to be. He gets hit often. Why does that offend you? Then again, I understand why, it goes against your fandemonium. Documentation is stats......Look at the stats of just this fight. According to Compubox.....Stanionis landed 31% of his punches on Ennis......how is that evidence of him being elite defensively. Ennis landed just 19% of his punches on Stanionis.... Does that not say that Ennis wasn't as offensively dominate as you and the other fans claim he was every round. Ennis happen to be able to do all that dancing and showboating because Stanionis, wasn't as strong and big as Ennis. Do you know how heavy Ennis was on fight night vs Stanionis?.........NO, YOU DON'T because no one does being that they put in the contract, no same day weigh in. Which is ABNORMAL for Ennis's career as he's always had same day weigh ins for all his fights. Using my own experienced eyes, I can clearly see that Ennis was NOT a welterweight in that rind that night. He was significantly bigger than Stanionis. This comes one fight after Ennis used being "weigh drained" as an excuse for a bad performance vs Karen. But you as a Ennis Fan don't want to acknowledge that fact.

You brought up Ortiz. Here the deflection I was pointing out. Pointing out someone gets hit more means nothing in regards to what I said..... Ortiz gets hit more due to the style he fights with. He's a downhill attacking fighter. He's going to get hit. Y'all promote Ennis as a more athletically gifted fighter. More defensive/IQ oriented fighter. Why should he be getting compared to a fighter who isn't known for that. That's as goofy as comparing Shakur Stevenson getting hit to the amount of times Isaac Cruz gets hit......

What I actually said about Ennis getting hit is that he has gotten hit OFTEN by smaller fighters. Fighters who were formally lightweights. Moving up to 154....he will be facing fighters whom are significantly bigger and more than likely stronger. If a Brian Castano hit Ennis as much as Stanionis and Karen did.....we then find out if his chin is what you promote it to be. We then see if he's strong enough to walk through it and still showboat on his way to a victory. Nobody at 147 is going to prove to the public how good Ennis is, because, even by his (and his father/trainer) own admission, he is not a natural welterweight.

Stanionis vs Ennis wasn't competitive at all they were different levels and boots is the best 147 in the world, had a better resume and yet they were on par ? Do not even compare Ortiz to Issac Cruz he is far better and still gets hit often, Boots fights at all ranges and thrives in the pocket. Against guys who lack KO power he will get hit because the threat is low, he will be more defensive otherwise and Boots rolls with most of his shots this work isn't credited. The fact he's still eaten shots that violently shake his head suggests he has an iron chin and if he doesn't he has great iq to turn fights around and is extremely hard to land successive shots against when hurt as shown against Karen. Karen is not pillowfisted. Villa is not pillowfisted nor small.

Ennis should improve his defense if he wants to increase his chances at dominating 154, but as it stands the talent is sugar ray leonard level it's so obvious, he hasn't even been pushed to use his surivival skills yet. What else is there to say ? Boots is the terminator he's cleaning 154 and you're just gonna watch

He's far better based on what.... Beating Dulorme?..... He built his career up on dudes with 15+ losses in their career. He gets hit, because he's supposed to. He's a boxer fighting other boxers. Floyd got hit. Ali got hit. Tyson got hit. It's a part of the sport. You all in your feelings because no one wants to join you by putting on knee pads and blessing the existence of Jaron Ennis.......lol. Dude you just sound like a cheerleader. I can't even take you serious. He gets compared to dudes who have accomplished as much as he has in this sport.

Against guys who lack power he will get hit?........ They also lack footwork. They also lack speed in comparison. They also lack size. There is a lot of advantages for Ennis that you have yet to argue. So if that is true, then how is him beating these cherry picked opponents proof that he is the best in the world when he has, even to your standards, have a huge advantage over them........Look at the guys you used as an example saying they aren't "pillow fisted"......R. Villa....a former LIGHTWEIGHT. K. Chukhadzhian...who is a career welter, but in 27 pro fights, he has 13 KOs.... These are the guys you are bragging about being big punchers?..... They should be compared to the top guys at 154lbs.........LOL........ Damn, you seriously HATE reality if this is the nonsense you are basing your fandemonium on? It's extremely weird that you don't understand how silly your argument sounds. Or maybe you simply just don't care because you love that man.......lol.

154 guys aren't any faster. Karen has better footwork than everyone at 154 besides Madrimov. Villa has an abnormally high KO ratio if you want to bring up KO stats with Karen.
Guess what weight class Ortiz used to fight at
Ennis runs through them. Nobody at 154 can outjab Ennis or beat him in the pocket
That should be it then. Same logic applies to Ennis. He has to prove himself at 154 but I'm not the one doubting his performances and getting his Boots predictions wrong.

You are trying to cherry pick the conversation. Explains why you are so much of a fan of Ennis who cherry picks his competition to make himself look dominant. I'll respond to this goofiness then leave you be to your lovefest of Ennis.

Man you are goofy.. I see you just love that man. I know better than to continue to argue with someone who just loves their man like no other.... Go ahead and love your man...... It's all good. Peace.

Making it difficult to reply on purpose?

Nobody at 154 can pivot, shift and use angles as well as Karen. But footwork quality is subjective. Crawfords not at 154 anymore
I never said this, and Karen's style in the rematch showed his feet set more than normal
You're the one who undermined Villas size and power by claiming he started at lightweight when he still has heavy hands at welterweight regardless, so Ortiz starting at 140 and being a puncher at 154 would be a similar weight jump
Dishonest ? it was a walk in the park Boots is the goods with sugar ray leonard talent and u will see him clean when he moves up in weight since you're so cynical in his ability lol
