Villa can punch but is way too slow for Boots. Still, he's coming off a big win and this is a nice matchup.

    Ennis should win this easily.

Villa doesn't know how to set up shots and he's too slow. He's got power, but poor offensive technique to be any kind of threat to the elite fighters of the division.

Great fight, even though Ennis is most likely gonna beat him down, I still expect it to be exciting.

@CST80 I seem to remember you having a lot to say about Villa. What do you think about this matchup.

Ennis by stoppage. Villa will come to find ght and Ennis is arguably the best couterpuncher and switch hitter I'm the game.

Ennis is the man and has so much potential, he's just a couple of fights away from being ready for anyone!

Honestly we won’t see the best of him until after Spence vs Bud happen and they leave the division. Not saying he’s a boogie man because he has to prove it but he does nothing for the older guys legacy wise (Danny, Thurman, Spence, Ugas and Bud) and too low risk for the other guys without a title on the line. Kind of like when Floyd, Manny, Cotto, Bradley and Mosley occupied the division. None of those guys was gonna fight Spence, Brook, Thurman, Porter, Bud etc.. because there was no reward.

Agreed, I think he needs 2 fights against the absolute best that he can manage to get right now. If he puts in impressive performances, then he is ready for everyone.
