Bro, bum ass Egis was kicking his ass. If Egis had a bigger heart and chin that was a winnable fight. Crawford just bullied him and he wilted. Spence isn't getting bullied. Even Jose Benavidez was kicking Bud's ass for durations of the fight and it was extremely competitive.

The same Shawn Porter that lost to Keith Thurman and Kell Brook?
Thurman and Brook must be really, REALLY good?

I guess Ennis gets smoked by them too...

I love Ennis. He's one of my favorite fighters and he was great tonight. That being said, I think he has less of a chance of beating Crawford now than I thought he did before this fight. Of course, a year from now Crawford will be another year older and Boots will be another year better. So by the time the fight actually happens I may have a whole different opinion.

Not sure if you've noticed or not, but Egis is a damned good fighter, with an impressive skillset, the only thing that lets him down is how fragile he is. Also, we both know Crawford when he wants to can be elusive as all hell, like he was with Postol. He simply didn't fear Egis, and paid for it a little. He'll be cautious as hell against Spence and walk him into southpaw counters all night, until one of them knocks his **** loose, as per usual with him, then Bud goes for the kill and finishes him off.

Yep, the same Porter that lost to a prime Thurman and Brook, both of whom would give Ennis nightmares. Are you okay? You seem a bit daffy tonight?

I'm not sold on him either. He's just another speedster, fast hands who uses it to lead and beat opponents to the punch which is fine and fun to watch which is why so many are hyping him but that isn't enough at the highest level. Speeds basically all he has, I'm not seeing other skills that would turn him from just another world class fighter to a true P4P level fighter. I hate seeing a fighter that only has speed and doesn't counter punch it's a red flag for me and says they have a ceiling.

He's the type of fighter that looks great when he's on top when he can dictate what is happening in a fight. We need to see him in a fight when what he usually does, doesn't work, when he can't just lead because he's getting countered or he's getting backed up onto the ropes and being worked over, can he adjust or can he simply only fight the one way we've seen so far or does he have the intangible qualities to overcome his limitations in skills.

I need you to come to team Spence. Jump off the bud ship now while you can.

Exactly.... this to a T. I just didn't feel like doing a big ass write up as to why, because I'm tired as hell. He's impressive as hell, as a C+ and B- killer, but I've seen very little from him that gives me confidence he can beat B+ or A level fighters.

Ennis is the greatest switch hitter outside of Hagler.

Not going to happen, I picked Bud to beat him 5 or 6 years ago, and nothing I've seen since has shaken my confidence in the least. I say that as someone who easily prefers Spence's style to Bud's.

A lot of emotional swearing coming from the CST home this evening. I don't think it's me that's 'daffy'
