Ennis will scrape through in a competitive fight. This will be the first opponent that'll actually push him.

I like Lipinets, but I think Ennis takes a wide decision.

A good step up fight for Boots. I think he uses his height, reach and speed and box Lipinets to a wide decision or possible late KO.

It's going to really devastating for you when he's viciously KO'd by Vergil Ortiz then, that is if Lipinets or Butaev don't beat him to it

Eh i wouldn't be so sure about that. Vergil Ortiz has a better resume but Ennis looks more technically sound and provided they're on the same level I'd actually favor Ennis Styalistically. But hes still unproven and his weak chin will be exposed if he keeps leaving it out and doesn't iron out his defense. Its all Ortiz for now, hes the number 1 prospect. But Ennis in my eyes has the most potential out of all of the prospects

I don't know about that, I don't get upset when my favourite fighter's lose.

Only time I do get upset is when it is a robbery but that is regardless if I'm a fan of the robbed fighter or not.

Ennis Vs Ortiz will be a great fight soon hopefully.

@CST80 @MarkusFlorez99 Tell me about Jaron Ennis weak chin?

I dont know for certain but he has a slender neck and doesn't posess a robust head shape so its more than likely his chin isn't all that but everybody's different. His chin could be iron for all i know

I haven't seen anything from Ennis that has impressed me all that much. He looked pretty awful against Eyubov quite frankly, and the stoppage was ASININE. Even though he stopped him, he performed far less impressively against Bakha than Ceballo. The way he gave up ground and was easily pushed to the ropes, and his tendency to lay there should be worrying to most. I mean, if a rudimentary plodder with little defense like Eyubov can have this much success. Can you imagine how poorly he;d fare against a genuinely gifted defensively sound pressure fighter?

I think his opponents have flattered the hell out of him. Van Heerden was looked poor for quite some time and Abreu was a spent force as well. Also, I think his power might not be all that. According to Young here, Garcia hits harder than Ennis. So he's still a question mark.

We've yet to see his chin tested, but let's hope it is before he shares the ring with Vergil. Because that's a bad place to start trying it out.

I think thats just styles make fights. From what i can tell world level pressure fighters can give him trouble in the future but in this fight he didn't have any trouble its just that he couldn't put him away easily. but stylistically I'd favor him to outclass boxer punchers. The guy just kept coming forward no matter what ennis gave him. Ennis showed some good slipping and rolling.
