Ennis is a prodigy and is on his way to capturing a world title. He will win several. But right at this very moment, Tim would knock this guy out of the damn ring. Think of that big shot that Drago landed on Balboa when his head snapped back, then Rocky picked him up. That's what would happen. Only Ennis ( Rocky ) wouldn't have his head snapped back, and pick up Drago ( Tszyu ) Ennis would get smashed out of the ring like that guy Dean Shooting star Ramsey did when he took on Ivan Krashinski ( Van Damme ) in No Retreat No Surrender. See, another great Russian movie Villain.
There are some people like that. Sure. But the majority only exist in your head. The noisy few get to you so effectively that you multiply them. In your head. Or maybe you just like being a victim? Plenty of that around. On topic: this would be a great fight that ought to be made. Have not seen either guy many times yet, but based on what I've seen, I think Ennis would win. Hard to tell about size until they're standing next to one another and Boots appears to have the speed advantage. Could be a replay of the chicken dance. Elder Tzyu vs Zab, but I'm not sure Ennis would not be a little more careful than Zab was that night.
It's got nothing to do with being a "victim" at all. Kostya Tszyu gets absolutely trashed in here despite being an ATG. And now his son is copping the same treatment. I will tell you exactly how it plays out depending on Tszyu's next few fights, entirely based on the ridiculous reaction from Americans after his last couple: Harrison - everything from Harrsion was out boxing Tszyu until the KO which is utter BS to Harrison is cooked and Tszyu beat up on a guy who is past it. No respect given for the win at all despite Harrison beating Charlo. Ocampo - regarded as a chump despite his record suggesting otherwise. Had given Fundora a hell of a fight in his last outing. And now it will be: Spence - Spence was not the same Spence from before his car crash or Spence was ended by Crawford so Tszyu won't have fought the best version of Spence. Ennis - Ennis was moving up so Tim was just too big. Crawford - He's old. Canelo - also old and washed up. Saw it with his dad, lucky shot against Zab, fight shouldn't have been stopped, etc. Hurtado, Mitchell, etc all B level, Lost to Vince Phillips, etc. No credit given for his achievements at all. Now a worthy HOF'er and so on. Seen it once, seeing it again.
There's absolutely no doubt that there are plenty of great American boxers. No doubt whatsoever. But there's no need for Americans to tear down non-American fighters just because they are not from the USA. I do not subscribe to the nonsense that you have to make it in America to be considered a great fighter.
As a stone American nationalist, warts and all, I could not agree more with the above statement. My point is that you extrapolate the .05 to .7 because the .05 are so offensive to you that it makes you crazy. Glad to hear that you don't require sympathy for being a victim.
The irony is that many of my favourite fighters are American. A great fighter is a great fighter, no matter where they are from.
Laying down a little logic in the service of repairing international relations.... Your country (and the forum) thanks you, Salty.
Teem former Russian soldier from Chechenya. Kill seven man with one punch. Teem could kill 7 Ennis in same ring in same time. Teem kill. Good.
