Jaron Ennis vs Vergil Ortiz

Ortiz. Lipinets was finding that chin and hitting it flush. Ortiz's shots will be much different.

 

I'm picturing a mini Hagler-Hearns, neither has defense to match their offense. Both are knocked down, I think Ortiz is better suited to do damage faster.

 

Ennis would take Ortiz apart.

 

I'm going ortiz atm...that might change in future...either way..I'm excited for that one on future...it'll probably never happen

 

I said this last year. But my position is slowly starting to shift.

 

Pick em fight with a slight lean to Ennis due to his speed and ability to get in and out better.

 

Ennis has some crazy skills but Lipinets hit him flush 4-5 times, Ennis did show a good chin which was largely untested till now, too close to call. I think Ennis is better than what he showed vs Lipinets

 

Havent seen much of either. Id favor ennis but neither are ready for crawford. Give those guys the B team/crawford duckers next.

 

At this point, I say Ennis. He uses his height and reach well. Also his speed and footwork give Ortiz some problems. Not to mention, he has good power.

 

Ortiz was really getting touched up. He was busted up by a light punching former 140 pounder. Ennis was rolling with punches on some of those big looking shots Lipinets threw. No way in hell Ortiz doesn't take a career altering L if he fights Ennis.

 

Let’s just hope these guys don’t take from this current era of top WWs and actually fight when it matters. They should fight each other within a year or two.

 

Think it may be to soon but then again I remember Don Curry and Marlon Starling fighting as contenders and then again when my guy Curry was world champion.
