Jarred Anderson sent a warning to Filip Hrgovic: 'Be careful what you ask for'

I actually think this would be a very good fight, I can see Andersen causing Hrgovic a lot of trouble early on. However, given his struggles against the mediocre Martin I don’t see him beating Hrgovic. I think Filip wears him down and takes over in the latter stages, perhaps even dropping him, winning a competitive decision.

 

Hrgovic still needs to prove himself knocking over De Mori doesn't automatically put you amongst the elite of the heavyweight division.

 

Anderson the same guy who struggled with Martin? Yeah bet Hrgovic is hiding under his sheets, lol.

Lets be honest Anderson knows Hrgovic is looking at the big names and isn't going to be looking down at someone like Anderson and there's no chance the fight happens without a big push and purse from his promoter, so he can safely talk trash at Hrgovic.

He should be calling out someone like Dubois, that's more his level right now. A win over Dubois would give him exposure to a wider audience and get people talking and is a very winnable fight for him. But of course Warren won't risk that ever happening.

 

Bump. About 8 months later, this seems like a good fight to make. Both coming off a loss, winner stays in the mix type of fight. And they had (have?) some beef clearly.

I wonder if people have changed their mind on this one now.

 

I'd say both of them will go after some low hanging fruit rather than risk back to back losses.

 

That would be a more logical choice, but apparently both Anderson and Hrgovic are backed by Turki and they will keep fighting on these Riyadh Season cards for the time being. And Turki likes to make heavyweight contenders fight each other.

 

I think Anderson is a good fight for Hrgovic that he can get back some credit in but otherwise I think you’re right

That’s true but don’t you think he could redeem himself a little if he stopped Anderson?

 

Has Hrgovic done any media in Croatia lately? He's been very quiet these last few months
