I'm sure plenty of you have done this, I did it last night and it's killing me this morning, any ideas what to do? Should I rest it and how long for? Or is it a common problem that I can just carry on training as normal with?

Definitely rest it. Ice isn't a bad idea either. I wouldn't risk working through it; a jarred wrist can heal up quickly, but if you truly **** it up it will be hard to seriously box again for who knows how long.

**** load of ice and don't train with it until it heals. If its bad go check it out

Looks like I'll be giving the heavy bag a miss the rest of the week then.

Rest and ice like everyone has already said but I would say to also have a small simple recovery drink throughout the day. I normally have 2 a day after doing Spartan race or tough mudder since I always seem to get injured in lol

If you messed up pretty bad like I did, your wrist might not be completely healed for months. I injured my wrist about 1.5 months ago and it still feels tweaky if bent wrong. Make sure you let it heal and itll be much worth it.

when raping your bandages you only need to rap the knuckles about 3 time , the thumb 2 times and the rest go's around the wrist ,,i now what you mean it's happened to me before, this way will also support the wrist when doing push ups
