Is this PPV? As in Paying People to View

Seriously though, this strategic matchmaking is despicable. Fighting old ranked fighters to get a title shot

This is the Gerry Cooney route to a title fight. It's nothing new.

This is a really stupid matchup for Big Baby; if he wins he beats up a shopworn midget. If he loses, he loses a ton of credibility. Cmon Baby, you can do better than that.

I had a weird thought(what I think will end up being a premonition) of Big Baby ending up in the UFC sooner rather than later. The state of HW MMA is in even a worse state than boxing and he'll surely realize that it's more profitable once his time as a HW contender is up(again soon er rather than later) although as I type this the 265 weight limit nay be an issue

Ugonoh would have been better, but Adamek as an opponent is fine. Matchroom isnt stupid, a headline Pole in Chicago, vs the best American heavyweight for the DAZN card, the fight sells itself. Who else would have they gotten to fight Miller in Chicago?

Why is Adamek doing it to himself? He should hang them up

As unlikely as it sounds I hope Adamek KOs him, I'd pay good money to see that happen.

I think Miller is quite **** and could actually lose this fight but it’s probably just be my unabashed disdain for him speaking and not allowing me to see things clearly

    This!
 I have had the same thought before and came to the same conclusion. He is just too big to compete in MMA.

He is more than good enough to fend off someone like Adamek. Miller has some craft. He is not that bad actually.
Adamek from 2010 could beat him. But IMO Miller is better than Arreola was back then and he would beat any version of Adamek. (Only reason Arreola was in that fight was because of his size and power)
That Pole doesn't belong at heavyweight.

Adamek is a **** who was never any good at HW and isn't currently a top 15. Miller has already fought top 15ers. This is a step back. I'd be more excited to watch any of the 9-15 fighters against Big Baby.

The thought of the much smaller, faded Adamek (who will be 42 in December) fighting the 300 pound Miller gives me a sickening feeling.

We don't want him to end up with brain damage. Tomasz has been in too many wars with much bigger men.

    He should've/could've fought Kubrat Pulev.

Pulev is rated #2 by the IBF. Miller is rated #3 by the IBF (#1 is vacant).

The IBF ordered a purse bid. Pulev's promoter won the bid, and Miller backed out.

Pulev is rated by the WBA and IBF. Adamek is rated by no one.

    So he's fighting Adamek.

And the only reason he's fighting him is Pulev-Miller wouldn't have been on DAZN.

That's why Dillian Whyte also backed out of a fight with Pulev (which was also mandated by the IBF) after Pulev's team won the bid, because it wouldn't have been on DAZN.

That's why Joshua and Wilder aren't fighting, because it wouldn't have been on DAZN, either.

If Hearn doesn't win the purse bids, then he takes his fighters and goes home.

Eventually, boxers are going to realize they aren't making the money they should because when someone offers to pay them MORE than Hearn, Hearn insists they pull out.

Writers used to CRUCIFY Don King when he refused to let one of his boxer's compete in a bout after King lost the purse bid. That was one way writers claimed King was "cheating" his fighters, because they'd have to pass on a payday worth $500,000 or more and instead he'd get them a fight and the purse would be $250,000.

    Now Hearn is doing that.
