Jarrell Miller about to fight Artur Szpilka on October 6

Just fighting moves Miller's career forward. What he can't afford to do is sit on his backside.

He's put together a decent string of wins & this will continue it.

Look good fight for Miller against a Polish fighter he should stop, in Chicago. Clever. Say what you like about Szpilka, remember, this is a guy Wilder fought in a title shot and was one of his most difficult fights. Miller will stop him inside 6. This is more of a showcase grooming fight on DAZN for future Miller vs Joshua than anything. Might be Adamek, Ugonoh or Zimnoch yet though, Szpilka reckons hes fighting Wach instead.

 

Szpilka outboxes Miller for 4-5 rounds before his chin let's him down once again.

 

Artur gets worn down and knocked out midway. A fringe decent win whilst waiting on his ass for Joshua.

 

Thought Miller was fighting Ruiz now that would be good..

The Polish man out boxed Wilder but most seem to do that before they get ktfo so thats no biggie..

Miller is a come forward guy so Szpilka would have to have some power to stop Miller walking him down and we know he doesn't have power..

Miller may even get a ko given the glass Szpilka is packing... All in all not a fight to get you closer to a world title shot but Miller is just the modern version of Briggs and is trying to talk himself into one so I wouldn't expect otherwise..

 

what it will probably be a good fight and a knock out. fan friendly.

Don't rule out a title shot for Miller.

 

Szpilka seems done. He jumped in the ring with Kownacki after being inactive for over a year and got demolished and after almost another year layoff showed up in horrendous shape against Dominick Guinn. For a guy as young as he is and with his style he needs to be way more active in order for his style to be effective. He has the speed and style to out hustle a guy like Miller to a decision, but not if he's inactive and out of shape.

 

Since Big Baby won't fight Joshua, he looks to be gunning for Wilder, who had his hands full with Spilzka.

I get it. The question is will Wilder give a good, bit not great Miller a title shot.

 

The press conferences and weigh in will certainly be interesting with these two!

Szpilka seems to have a fight or some drama every other weigh in.

 

Szpilka?? the guy that got KTFO by Wilder?? then his next fight he got KO'd by no-name bum Adam Kownacki??? And Big Baby is making fun of Joshua for taking the Povetkin fight??? U gotta be sh ittin me!!!!

 

Don't take Miller seriously. He's just after the big payday.

 

Miller should pick up a decent win here en route to the Joshua fight.

He needs to be facing someone better than Szpilka in order to truly warrant the shot at Joshua, but hey, it's 2018 boxing which means "we want better but we've seen worse."

 

When Wilder has trouble with but beats Washington, Duhuapas and Szpilka, he's a champ and everyone wants to see him fight Joshua, but when Miller dominates and swats them like flies with ease, he's fighting no one and only after a Joshua payday... lol, please. Miller is a very worthy challenger. Of course everyone wants to see him take on someone stronger than Szpilka, but in case you haven't noticed, it's his highlight fight on DAZN, and Hearn wants him to KTFO of someone so he can sell Miller vs Joshua.

 

Would sell some tickets in Chicago but meh, worthless fight and a mismatch at this point.
