I'm a fan of the Big Baby aka Cheeseburgermeister! Is he competitive at the Championship level? I dunno...probably not although he shows improvement in the few fights I've seen and it's early on, so there's hope. Besides, he's a lot of fun to watch and in interviews is likable enough and talks smak that is kind of funny but with little real malice behind it. Why not? Count me in.

    War Big Baby!! :Laie_22mini:

Washington is getting stretched. Good step up for Miller.

Good to see him back in action but what's up with 11 months out of the ring? Boxing is feast or famine nowadays - if you're not one of the top-paid, in-the-news fighters, it's like impossible to get a 2nd rung fight made. Which makes it hard to build up your skills.

He wanted to leave Salita, that's why he didn't fight. He even signed an illegal deal with Warrior Boxing and signed with Haymon but now everything seems to be resolved and he has left Salita.

I agree, Washington is gonna fold. Miller has relentless pressure and comes forward
peppering with shots, he throws little touching shots then switches and throws heavy
stuff. You never really know what he's gonna throw.

He has to be one of the most in shape 300 pounders in boxing, he's not sloppy at all.
very broad shoulders, not an Adonis by any means, but an overall solid mass,
    with a chin.

I'd actually like to see him in against Ortiz

    he is a dangerman
not an easy style to cope with for heavys as you need to move your feet to fight him
a fighter who gives him angles ad has speed will beat him easily as millers weight is his biggest problem
seen him as a kickboxer at the lower weight and he was much better
his bulk has slowed down his handspeed and made his punches thudding but not as concusive IMO at the higher level he is yet to face
his leg speed is now non exsistent
dangerous fighter though as he clearly loves fighting and has will to win / 2 attributes that in a lot of cases trumps talent.

top 10 fighter IMO and i expect the washington fight to prove it.

Well let's hope all is well and we see Big Baby a few times per year. I like the guy and he might have flaws but he has "flair":afro:

I can't get the fact that an ancient Cro Cop outpointed this guy, before he turned pro, out of my head.

He's not a bad fighter by any means, definitely top ten. But he's going to run into someone who's going to diffuse his aggression. Once he can't implement that, it's an easy points loss. He doesn't offer much in there except for what you see.

No way... He starches Mitchell easy. Scott is a bit more difficult... Either Miller loses a decision or Scott gets stopped while ahead on the cards. 50/50.

I used to be a big critic and skeptic(I was aware of Miller even before most knew of him as HW boxing prospect)

But with his recent performances there's obviously more than meets the eye.

Miller is in the same mold as Kownacki and Browne.. In fact the parallels between the 3 are so uncanny that I did a thread about it....

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...owne-jarrell-miller-and-adam-kownacki.590612/

Browne upset Chagaev with his toughness, willpower and relentlessness.

Kownacki blew Szpilka out for the same reasons......

Let's take a look at Washingtons career shall we??? He doesn't like dog fights... Look at how he reacted against Mansour and Wilder who aren't all that different from Wilder when he brawls. Washington will cave in against Miller just as he did in the two fights. Parallels and momentum matter in boxing folks... Washington is 35 to Millers 29, He's also to Miller what Chagaev and Szpilka were to Browne/Kownacki...

    Washington is going down. :deal:
