He talks about it here (Timestamped)

Been coming across some training videos and pictures of him lately and he does look in much better shape than he did in the Dubois fight. I think we might see an upset on Saturday, especially with Ruiz not looking in shape at all, even by his standards. Not sure if he has the hunger (lol) anymore.

Stylistically Miller's come forward style should suit Ruiz's counter punching, but I don't see Ruiz's power being enough to stop Miller in his tracks. If Miller's cardio is back, I can see him outworking Ruiz and really beating him up as the fight goes on.

Miller is limited but he still seems motivated to do something in this game. Can't say the same for Ruiz.

Edit: He actually lost 28 lbs, dude lied lmao. Still a decent weight loss though. Let's see how he performs.

Saw a shot with his shirt off. Just looks like a fat guy now. Instead of a really fat guy.

Losing weight and getting off the gear are probably best for his health.

    Taking punches, not so much.

Man working as a professional athlete with a purse-ceiling of many millions of dollars in his sport was more than 45 pounds overweight.

If he wasn't so heavy he would have beaten Dubois. All of the extra weight cost him.

At his age it will only make him physically frail.

Do you run around telling smokers not to quit because it will only make them anxious? You should. It will.

Uh, you have missed something badly. taking off large amounts of weight rapidly is very bad for the internal organs. The way to do it is to gradually take the weight off though lifestyle change.

That's true, but a 335 lbs man like Miller losing 45 lbs isn't the same as a "normal" person losing 45 lbs. 45 lbs in more than 7 months isn't *that* drastic for a man of his size, he probably just stopped eating like a hippo. Well, that and PEDs.

i like the OG big baby, but i suspect this to be the case. my good fortune is that one of the only guys i would root for against him is The Master Of Carnitas, Ruiz

This obviously improves his chances of out working and outlasting Ruiz Jr. But how will it effect his ability to take a punch? If he still has a good chin then an upset might very well be on the cards as if he can set a pace Ruiz Jr can't live with, we might see a similar fight to his fight with Dubois, but this time he's the fighter who comes out on top.

This definitely makes this fight more interesting.
