To be fair, he's probably right about him being the most annoyed. No-one else gives a ****.

    Blah, blah, blah.

I have no interest in seeing this guy and will not pay. Add your voice to the chorus and lets be done with him.

What a well-spoken, neatly dressed young man. He would make a great ambassador for the sport. Much more than these British guys. Let's bring it back to #1 country. Clear this man and let him take him the prize already.

If you don't think that almost all professional athletes, including professional and amateur boxers use these substances, you're a fool.

Its a shame for Miller, he was intriguing and could have made a lot of money.

He also shouldn't be criticized for coming forward and trying to explain himself; most athletes would hide behind PR reps or lawyers while he's putting himself out there.

Most likely Miller's used a supplement or product at a stage when he knew he needed to be clean and the product was either incorrectly labelled or had illicit additives.

Most of these products are made in India or China and the producers / manufacturers don't particularly care, stuff gets mixed up often.

It's very time consuming and costly to purchase products, have them tested to determine if they only have what is stated and then used them...usually on state-backed athletic programs do that (for their national athletes).

I haven't been sleeping super-well during lockdown, and am not, I daresay, quite at peak acuity, but, still... nothing he said really resonated with me/made any real sense... what's his defence, exactly?

How did you determine this was the most likely explanation?

It's a guess. But it happens all the time and national organisations take the expense / effort to test all products for illicit / banned additives before letting their athletes use them.

It makes perfect sense if you think about it - Germany's not going to let their best 100 metre freestyle swimmer get a 5 year ban and miss the next games because he took an untested supplement, plus cop national embarrassment. Pro fighters in MMA / boxing usually don't have that corporate knowledge behind them...they're feeling their own way forward.

Why would everyone be on something? There are huge risks in getting caught.
    Not everyone is morally corrupt.

Heck, the UFC has over 500 guys on its roster. All of whom get tested by USAD. You saying USADA is so inept that they only catch a fraction of cheaters?

Yes, once you are at the top of any sport, the likelyhood of one cheating increases. But not everyone will do so.

I hear Marcellus Wilder just got a law degree from McDonalds University and will be representing Miller in his quest for justice.
