Absolutely ridiculous, what a complete and utter fool. Did he really think he could get away with doping whilst having VADA testing?! If he felt the need to take GW1516, EPO and HGH altogether to even have a chance of beating Joshua he shouldn't have taken the fight in the first place... for the record I still think Joshua would have smashed him to pieces even if he was juiced to the gills. But just what a clown, especially after all the s**t talking he gave to Joshua during their press conferences... hope he serves a lengthy ban.
People are saying Miller must be the dumbest athlete in the world to get caught for so many PEDs all at once. But the fact of the matter is Miller (kind of) had no choice. Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller's whole identity in this sport, his entire style, is that he's the 6'4, 310 pound guy with decent work-rate and stamina. Some people here having even called him "a new paradigm" because he's built like a powerlifter or gridiron lineman. Now that he's been exposed to all the people (and many of us could clearly see what he was all along), can you imagine what he'd look like, and fight like, clean (or even on a test-passable drugs regime) ? I doubt Miller even knows how small, how weak and how different he'd be without the drugs. Imagine him coming out of training camp at 230 pounds, with more body fat that he had at 315, his skinny-flabby body looking small and weak, bench pressing 150 pounds less in the gym, squatting half of what he did, failing to deadlift for 1 rep what he used to do for 5 sets of 5 easily .... being thrown around by sparring partners he used to bully ..... then having to step into the public arena battered by questions about why he looks so different ..... and then having to fight a man like Joshua (who, frankly, even at 315 Miller was given little chance against) ...... Miller simply had no choice but to carry on using what he uses and hope the tests somehow missed or ignored the PEDs. Miller's entire identity and "legitimacy" rested on the PEDs.
Diet diet diet bro,i trained my ass off without roids but still looked like a pudding because i indulged in the "seafood diet." Needed those calories. Miller probably did very little roadwork as well
I don't get the HGH though... that can take a full year to take effect though. why would he take it now?
Man, 95% of the ELITE are juiced and roided to the gills, but they're not getting caught with that. That's a dumb move by him. I don't think he started juicing in March so he probably is doing that for months / years, why getting caught before the biggest fight of his career? dumb, sorry but this is simply DUMB. he probably knows - like 95% of the rest - to do that without getting caught.........
HGH is one of the worst. EPO is another bad one. Miller is a ***** who's popped dirty for some of the worst combination of drugs in boxing. Name 3 fighters who have used worse drugs
Because he's insecure. He probably takes it every day of his life. He's hoping to be around 1 year from now, so no need to stop his HGH.
There are different degrees of "roided to the gills". Most heavyweights can come off the PEDs for much of the year and/or go on low doses or passable regimens. Miller cannot. Miller needs to take excessive amounts to maintain his entire identity and style of fighting. The alternative to him is unthinkable.
That's like saysing Holyfield didn't have a choice, because otherwise he had never become an effective heavyweight. They could have chosen not to
Larry O is the only one I can come up with, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't taking all that s__t himself but actually was a supplier. Then there probably are a number from the 80's and 90's HW scene, but due to lack of testing there's only speculation of how things went back then.
If Holyfield was fighting now, I'm sure he'd pass all the tests. .... and even a smaller Holyfield could have been an effective heavyweight in his era. Miller cannot be compared to these types of fighters. Miller is a complete bum and a fraud whose entire selling point and alleged legitimacy as a "contender" rested on using excessive drugs.
The point I'm making is that fans and promoters and broadcasters actually bought into Jarrell "BIg Baby" MIller and his 300+ strongman act. He got as far as he did because people are gullible enough to believe he was ever "clean". He gets offered millions to fight Joshua. His mistake, of course, was taking the fight.
