Tbh I imagine because of his size because fact he’s never been tested during camps before either that he just can’t train with out being juiced to the gills. Like some of the stuff he was taking he will feel benefit of it well after doing a cycle but some stuff like the endurance drug he’s on he won’t it will be on the day and he most likely associate’s a long hard camp with stuffing ped’s down his throat.
I doubt many in boxing would, behind closed doors with camera off, say they thought he was clean. If many of us on here thought he was suspect why wouldn't they? It's more that they don't really care, as long as they'd can make a buck from selling the fight. The fact is Miller looked the part, a huge man with a big mouth who could dwarf AJ in the ring and provide a spectacle. Thats why Hearn picked him and other than insisting on vada for the camp period I don't think he gives a monkeys of Miller has been on peds, possibly because AJ and his team felt they had the beating of him regardless? It's a cynical business ultimately.
Yes, but from Miller's point of view, the VADA testing was a huge spanner in the works. What was Miller supposed to do ? You say : "The fact is Miller looked the part, a huge man with a big mouth who could dwarf AJ in the ring and provide a spectacle" Yes, exactly. That was his role. So what's he supposed to do ? If he stopped taking all his drugs he'd no longer be "a huge man" to "provide a spectacle". He'd be embarrassed to come in looking like that. And scared too ...... he'd been killed, for sure, when Joshua starts punching him.
Your comments are food for thought. Even I, with limited knowledge of roids thought he looked like a power lifter and I can tell you that none of the elite power lifters are roid free. It is probably that I like many refused or denied making the connection because we liked the persona. Now that I think of it, he really was doing nothing other than what WWE wrestlers do and we all know how many of them have died from roid usage over the past 10-15 years.
Let's not get carried away. Dave Allen is ****ing terrible. I'm not sure he even beats shot to **** David 'I've never actually upset anyone' Price.
I guess he was supposed to cycle off the peds prior to signing the vada agreement and stay off them for 12 weeks up to fightnigt. At which point he could take on AJ still carrying many of the benefits of his years of cheating, albeit without the immediate benefits of whatever he was on. He loses to aj andmaybe he never wins again but banks 8m for the 3 Dazn fights, retires and never has to inject a carcinogenic substance again.
I agree. I don't think he's even journeyman quality without his "300lbs unlimited stamina" thing. There are some amateur prospects who have better skills than him.
A point not to be forgotten in the original post by Unforgiven is the psychological impact this had on Miller. All his recent success over the past few years has been associated (in his mind) with PED usage. I think he was mentally addicted to them. It became part of his persona. He did not believe he could succeed without the PEDS and even the lure of the money could not make him stop, even for a short while. I think it is evident that Miller is a long-term PED user, as even with PED usage, you do not get the body shape and characteristics he has without prolonged PED usage over a number of years.
Big baby Miller hear our plea, Check out this invite come it's free, We want you to attend our rave, We don't care if you misbehave, You don't even have to dance real good, We only want you for your blood, Or failing that we'll take your ****, I'm sure we can get high off this, Your heavyweight plans may have been thwarted, But our drug requirements will be sorted,
Yes it's as good an explanation as I've seen for a highly irrational action on BBM's part. As above, if he'd just put the needles away he could've been a poster boy for a tactic of cheating until you get to the big fight then cashing out with reputation intact. Now he would need to rebuild whilst fighting clean, which maybe he can't do. Professional wrestling may be his only hope...
Miller is a complete waste of time , I don't see the point in posting about Miller anymore . He had a chance and he ruined it , it's upsetting and very , very disappointing but time to move on from Miller , regardless how long he will be banned for we will not see him fight (if at all) for a long time . Miller said himself quote "he is humbled now" unquote , which is code for "AJ was gonna humble me anyway so I took the stuff to at least compete and stand a chance " .
