To quote the great Larry Sanders, Miller is a "talentless fat ****"

And, apparently, he is gutless to boot. I don't care if the fight is scheduled in Romania. If Miller can't clearly beat Pulev at this point, he deserves no consideration for a shot at ANY title.

Because it's called Heavyweight champion of the WORLD, not the USA... USA isn't the world, not even close.

Miller could’ve been HUGE in Bulgaria. In fact you can’t spell bulge without the first 4 letters of Bulgaria.

The winning purse bid was $2.2M. The losing purse bid was $1M. 25% ($550K) of the winning purse bid is still more than 50% ($500K) of the losing purse bid. This is clearly a duck.

It’s HW boxing though. Think about it objectively. You’re a HW fighter who thinks Pulev is too old, feather fisted, lacks legs/heart to beat you (young contender)...it sounds like an opportunity to beat a national hero (take candy from a baby) in front of his adoring fans and increase your profile in the process.

Steve Cunningham did it when he beat an undefeated Marco Huck. No way Miller ever becomes to the US what Pulev is to Bulgaria. Especially with his sloppy physique, big mouth, and lack of punching power. I wish Tim Witherspoon was still around to knock his big lethargic @55 out cold.

Lol, laughing my ass off, increase profile? No one cares about a fight in Bulgaria, thats why no one goes there. If Pulev wont leave Bulgaria, hes going to end his career fighting nobodies for nothing in obscurity.

Miller eats up guys like Pulev, Cunningham and Witherspoon on the way to fights. Go wrestle and fight someone 6'4 300 with the worlds highest heavyweight punch output if you dont believe me. Another heavyweight fighting Miller is like a Middleweight fighting a Light Heavyweight in comparison. You have to run like H.Fury, punch like Joshua or hustle like Joyce to beat Miller, Pulev dont make the cut.

Bulgaria isnt even the size of Virginia, no sweat, im sure Miller is happy being the #1 US heavyweight and king of New York, one of the epi centres of world boxing.

Miller isn’t that big in New York though. He takes a clear back seat to Jacobs.

I’m sure Miller eats well at night knowing he’s got such a loyal public relations guy working for him.

You do realize that being the king of New York means very little in boxing. Especially in the current era of boxing where most of the biggest fights happen in Vegas or overseas. Plus New York is still reeling from the fallout of the tragic Mike Perez-Abdusalamov fight.

Ask the following New York fighters if don’t believe me.
    • Mark Breland
    • Kevin Kelley
    • Zab Judah
    • Paulie
    • Daniel Jacobs
All good fighters, whose light shines very dimly in an international sense. Mike Tyson is the only notable exception and we all know why that is.

I won’t hold it against you if you choose to ignore my response. Especially since I know you have a lot on your plate, kinda like Jarrell always does.

With the exception of fighters in the lowest weight classes and Crawford, there aren’t too many World Champions out there today.

Despite the lack of formal education, fighters these days THINK they are more intelligent than they were in the old days. Just look at how many of them waste money to make their own apparel that nobody outside their team wears, probably all comped by the fighter himself. Plus how many of them try to become promoters, with little real enduring success.

With the proliferation of belts available to be won, and the importance of keeping fighters undefeated, too many fighters and their teams do everything possible, catch weights, home field advantage, purse split games, glove size/brand restrictions, ring size demands, etc., to navigate the path of least resistance.

It’s getting difficult and expensive to remain a boxing fan.
