Jarrell Miller says he came in too light for this fight. He says he was heavier for last fight and had more pop in his punches. Says he worked too much on cardio. He wants to come in heavier next time, do more weights, so he is a lot stronger. 1 min in to video. This content is protected Thoughts?
I was actually saying to a friend while watching this fight that he really didn't have the "Physique" to be a Wilder opponent...yet. He really needs to hold his training camp next door to burger king if he wants any shot of fighting wilder.
f****ng bull***t. heavyweights today dont even bother coming in shape. they use the no weight limit as an excuse to look like a fat truck driver. what ever happened to the good old days.
He doesn't need to do that. His qualities are enhanced by being nimble and having dexterity. Adding weight will only slow him down. Sounds to me like he is looking to add power?
His lack of power isn't coming from the fact he's ooonly ~280lbs, it's from the fact that his punching technique is very poor. Much like Dillian Whyte. If you can't drop a fatigued Washington at 300lbs then no amount of extra weight is suddenly going to give you one punch KO power, it will only make you slower. He needs to work on his delivery and timing more than anything else.
LOL And have access to pizza delivery, as well Anyway, Miller ss a big, very active pressure fighter, but he is obviously not a power/knockout puncher
I think we can write this guy off now. He clearly has no intention of ever taking his profession seriously.
