Jarrell Miller vs Dereck Chisora in the works

Could actually see a draw. Great fight!

I think Chisora could counter Miller well enough to get the nod if I had to pick a winner.

 

Ooooh, I've been calling for this fight round these parts! Makes sense for both. I mean, Chisora really should've hung 'em up even before the Fury fight, but his surprise win vs Joyce has given his career a 5th wind. I know that Miller's been elected as the big bad guy by the boxing community, but he's a game fighter who doesn't come up with excuses, is fun on the mic, and comes out swinging (before he inevitably gasses). Lost a lot of weight for Ruiz fight too, so seems to be taking his late-career redemption opportunity seriously.

This should be a very fun fight, though I think Chisora's very shot at this point (turns out Joyce was tailor-made for him) and Miller's got more left in the tank. Winner should fight Wardley

 

This is a mistmatch. Chisora has been done for a while now and his recent success is just smoke and mirrors. I picked him to beat Joyce mainly because it was a good stylistic matchup for Chisora. Miller is a terrible matchup for a year old Chisora.

Miller via T/KO in. Old Del Boy simply does not have it in him to win a war of attrition.

 

Chisora could outlast miller here. Chisora is good at smothering attacks clinch and take his breathers. Hes a far better inside fighter then miller who needs space. Miller without his drugs is very concerned about his gastank so this will give chisora chances to outwork him. Chisora can punch even if he is on empty, he has shown that over an over. And miller is not hard to find those looping right hands will land at will

I don't really like Chisora either, but I hope he ends the blatant cheater's career.

 

People said the same about Joyce/Chisora and we saw what happened there. Miller isn't a huge puncher so won't stop Chisora and Miller has a gas tank just as bad as Chisora. Miller has lost every time he's stepped up for a reason and even a well past it Chisora might have too much even now.

 

Would rather see Big Baby vs Big Baby. The winner gets to keep the name Big Baby.

Reality is he's never beaten anyone as good as even a faded Chisora. I wouldn't favour him against Joyce now, let alone Chisora. Miller might win the early rounds just on work rate but he'll gas out and Chisora is just smarter and sneakier and will find a way to win.

 

Disagree here. Miller is harder opponent stylewise for Chisora, he has sturdy chin and great workrate like Joyce but is obviously quicker with better reaction (despite being fat). Also Miller never gassed vs Ruiz and gave him a beating in the late rounds. Don't forget how bad Chisora looked vs shot Gerald Washingthon who was stopped by Miller few years ago.
