Poor Fres, for years his whole world has revolved around getting his hands on this belt, he's waited all this time through mandatory falling through after mandatory falling through, only for it to come to this..... to end up being used as cannon fodder by a Machiavellian opportunistic promoter looking for an easy alphabet strap to put on his fighter and will be violently KO'd by this massive behemoth and young buck who outweighs him by 80 pounds.

Great to see Miller stepping up and taking on a top young contender in the HW division...

It's crazy that a guy who was a gate keeper even during his prime is now getting a title shot after not fighting for 4 years. He was around during Lewis' era for Christ sake.

Miller doesn't deserve a title shot with his **** poor run of opponents but compared to Oquendo he's a thousand times more deserving of this opportunity even if it's only for a Mickey Mouse belt.

I wonder if the WBA will dig up another old relic in Ike Ibeabuchi and give him a shot next.

Fres will break one (minor) record at least, by getting a heavyweight titlehot after being out of the ring for well over 4 years. Vitali had been out of the ring for "only" 3 years and 10 months when he regained his WBC strap.

    Fire in the hole!

Big Baby to continue his run of devastation through the h/w division.

Turns out Adamek was an ideal tune-up for his title shot after all.

If Miller gets an early 1st/2nd KO, he could fight again in December, might as well clear out Trevor Bryan while he's at it. 3 fight in 3 months, then big camp for a big name on Joshua undercard.

You can't blame miller for this, it makes sense to get that belt and if the only way is through fres then so be it.

Miller vs Trevor Bryan for the unification WBA regular belt and WBA interim belt winner to face AJ for the WBA super belt

Nah Bryan in far too young for Miller, look at Miller's track record.

    Oquendo 45 years old
    Adamek 41 years old
    Wach 37 years old
    Washington 35 years old
    Kassi 36 years old

His opposition is only getting older with each fight. It will be Ibeabuchi next who is currently 45, then maybe we'll see him vs Oliver McCall who was meant to fight in July this year but pulled out. McCall is currently 53 years old. After that Miller will be searching the local retirement homes for opponents.

Wilder - Ortiz 39 years old
Joshua - Povetkin 39 years old
Whyte - Browne 39 years old

He's on about par for a world title

Hopefully after 4 years straight in the gym Oquendo isn't overtrained. This is some hyperbolic time chamber ****.
