Way too soon. Jarrell Miller is still too unproven to be comparing him to Muhammad Ali. If Miller gets in shape and goes on to stop both Joshua and Wilder and holds the Undisputed title for a few years I'll come back and admit it's a 50-50 fight, but for now there isn't anything to compare. Buster Mathis was around Miller's size, but had a better gas tank and was more proven at the top level. Muhammad Ali 6'3" 227 lbs vs. Buster Mathis 6'3" 256 This content is protected Mathis was a talented fighter that wasted his career coming in at 280-300 lbs. Hopefully Miller gets a clue while he's still young and gets in shape. If Miller consistently stayed around 245-260 lbs I could see him developing into a top heavyweight, but at 270+ lbs he gets easily toyed with by Wilder, Joshua, Parker, Ortiz, and even Whyte.
I'm not one of those that worships Ali lke a god, but, c'mon. Big Baby? They'd have to tie Ali's hands together for Miller to be able to beat him.
It will take a loss for Miller to have that 'realisation' that being overweight is not productive in a cardio driven sport where you are being punched in the face by the biggest punchers in the world.
This. Even Joshua after his poor performance against Takam realized he needed to go easy with the extra weight. He was able to pace himself much better at 242 lbs when he fought Parker and wasn't sucking wind by the mid rounds like he was in the Takam fight.
I wondered who the young girl was in the ring the other night. That was a really nice gesture from Large Bambino Miller This content is protected
How short memories are... I am certain if you asked Miller to vote on this thread he would pick Ali by UD. Guys doubting that.. watch Ali's fights again is all I can say.
Miller hasn't even faced a top 10 Heavyweight but he KO's Ali? He couldn't KO Duhuapas, who just stood in front of him taking punches for 12 whole rounds. Let's be real, this must be the weakest American HW scene for a long time....... Washington is Number 3, and a guy over 21 stone is Number 2.
