Dafuq? This dude need to go to 160!
That gotta put a stop to this crap!
Y'all make TOO big a deal out of walking around weight....
Hatton aka Fatton was even heavier.
So fight a cruiserweight, faggot.
What does he weigh on fight night? That's all I care.
He also risks the danger of draining himself out every fight and possibly working to lose weight in training more so than actual training.
Hurd is a bad man, and if any 154lbers are too intimidated they can lose lbs and fight at Welterweight
I'm really not very sympathetic to weight bullies facing the consequences of their draining. Besides, all the guys that do this are first class assholes: Broner, JCC Jr., etc.
It doesn’t matter if he comes down from 350lbs and makes 154, all that matters is he makes weight when he needs too. He is also the IBF holder which is the only organisation to put a dehydration limit on the morning of the fight, so he clearly is even more restricted than other guys.
I’m not a swift fan but this weight bullying crap is ridiculous
I used to care more about 'weight bullies'. Not as much anymore. Until boxing itself fixes this somehow, all's fair I suppose.
Aw man, don't go drifting into the dark side - this is the same defeatist mentality that leads to some fans saying "the hell with it, give every boxer PED's"
Hurd is the biggest 154lber I have ever seen.
The guy looks rock solid fight night and clearly rehydrates huge amounts
Look at weigh in pics and you think g he's just a tall skinny guy. Come fight night and he looks like a hulk. Stark difference.
Other big guys like Guillermo Jones/Willie Nelson didn't look as big fight night Imo.
He gotta lay off dat peppa steak.
