You know what shortens careers? Being in the ring with someone way bigger than you taking a lot of damage. You know what shortens careers? When you aren't strong or tough enough to fight guys your own size and are just a nobody at your proper weight.

That's the first weight bullying excuse that I can kind of respect and agree with.

But is it a physiological advantage or a pharmaceutical advantage? A lot of guys use diuretics and stuff to lose the weight and then IV fluid bags to rehydrate and mask their PEDs. There are limits to the amount you can lose and spring back naturally, but the drugs drastically increase that. It's like doping.

When Down's Syndrome, schizophrenia, auticsm, ADHD, and Bi-Polar go untreated and try to medicate with alcohol, angel dust, meth, and virginity all in the sane dome. ****ing intense bro. Wow. I'm almost jealous.

If it's PEDs then it's totally wrong, but PEDs are a separate issue that can be used to enhance all those other physical abilities as well.

Some fighters have natural advantages in ability to cut weight, power, endurance, etc. - All ok in my book.
Using PEDs to enhance any of it - Not ok.

So. Question. If he is cutting 36-38 lbs to make weight the day before a fight, how much water does he likely need to consume in about the 24 hours before the fight to make that weight back up? (yes 36-38 lbs).. but what is that in litres? Does food/nutrition play a part? He will clearly sweat/urinate a lot too which requires more water. Wont doing this screw up kidneys etc? Im looking at the conversion rates and they reckon its about 16 litres to make up that weight. That cant be right

Funny how losing a lot of weight for a fight can be both characterized as an adventage or disadvantage depending on who the fighter is around here. Which is it guys?
