Jarrett Hurd star power....Where does he rank in the PBC?

He should be a bigger star than his is. Fights in a "exciting style" and wants to take on all comers.

 

No. Because there is no face of PBC. IF they wanted someone as the face of the company, they'd have one by now. Not to mention, Hurd isn't charismatic enough.

 

I’m not sure he has the one punch ability to become a real superstar.

 

Upper middle of the stable for now. If he continues to beat decent fighters his profile should grow in the next couple of years..

 

For such a large fighter he does not have a strong punch, he just moves forward and tires you out by letting you beat his face in. Tonight his flaws have been given the spotlight.

 

Hurd would make a great walking dead extra

 

Hurd has proven to be a humble guy with quite a number of flaws. Doesn't seem like the guy who the PBC would want as their posterboy.

 

Among their champion/top contender level boxers, near the bottom. That's a blessing in disguise for fans because Al doesn't care about matching those guys as tough as they like.

Al's favorite son is Spence. It shows in the matchmaking and I suspect he's been paying media outlets to fast track him on P4P lists. No other fighter I can remember got ranked universally by the media after just one title fight like Spence did. Even the ones with historical level achievements didn't get ranked that quickly.

I think that's a damn shame because Spence is a beast and could win the fights to justify a high ranking if Al would make the in house fights with him.
