Seeing that the fight ended as a split draw, yeah................because neither has many attributes to entertain other than physicality. And neither is the sturdiest.

Just seen Hurd-Rosario; I was expecting it to explode into a war at some point but that didn't happen. On balance that is probably due more to Hurd; he was content to operate behind his jab for much of the fight, yet I feel if he was more explosive, especially to the body, he may have gotten the job done.

For what it's worth, I scored it as:
    Hurd: 1, 3 (close), 5, 9
    Rosario: 2, 4, 6, 7 (close), 8, 10

    So 96-94 Rosario

Hurd should have won this fight but he took his foot off the pedal. Both guys are way past their prime and it showed. Not a lot of fire. Rosario got the draw on grit. Hurd got the draw on laziness.

We knew even before they met that they were both shadows compared to their primes. But frankly they're still fun to watch, whether it's Hurd or Rosario, and I support them and hope the best for them. A rematch would be really interesting, the two boxers seem to respect each other deeply, and even if they're far from their peak, they put their foot on the brake, at times Rosario didn't speed up, whereas he had the upper hand in the second half of the fight, especially at the end. Similarly, Hurd dominated the fight with his jab at the start, then stopped using it for no reason and didn't accelerate to the body, while Rosario still seemed to be as fragile to the body as ever. A rematch would be interesting for them, they're too far away to become champions again and just risk a knockout against hungry prospects. They might as well put some money aside with a safe rematch.

In any case, I'm surprised to see two boxers I like fighting each other.
    having both been unified champions.
