Cottos reflexes went to **** after the Canelo fight and the layoff. Even kamegai was tagging him. Hes shot and btw right now looks like he weighs about 200lbs. Peak Miguel Cotto was a beast. Always came to fight and had an exciting yet skillful style I cant remember a single boring fight he had. Has had more wars than almost anyone, taken unbelievable punishment and fought a really long list of really good fighters.
Hurd would wear him down and stop him I reckon. Cottos best was at 147, even though he had a decent run at 154, he basically beat a one legged Foreman, ancient Mayorga, a one eyed Margarito, a no legged Martinez, Kamegai, Rodriguez and Geale. He'd outbox Hurd no doubt but ultimately Hurd would just grind him down with pressure imo despite Cotto being the better overall fighter.
