I'm not sure Hurd gets past Culcay. Derevyanchenko stops him late.

When Hurd moves up he’s gonna take it slow unless he gets a Canelo offer.. He already stated he’s gonna take soft fights to get acclimated to the weight.. This was stated after he was asked would go directly to Jermall if he beats Jermell..

I thought about it, and would enjoy watching Hurd vs Lemieux or Murata.

Hurd would beat SD. I think SD is close to being finished as a top ten MW. Been in some very hard fights the few years, losing them.

I take it you missed tonight's PPV? Where Luke Keeler and Gabriel Rosado's leftovers, Luis Arias, dominated Hurd from bell to bell and came close to KOing him in the final round, and actually won on the cards? Hurd is way more done than Derevyanchenko at this point. Losing 7-5 to Jermall Charlo is a lot more impressive than arguably being shut out by someone on Arias' level.

It seems crazy now that some people thought this guy would beat prime GGG and also had him in their top 10 pound for pound

Derevyanchenko beats the **** out of Hurd. Hurd's head is like a magnet for clean punches; his defense is unbelievably bad. And his style wouldn't work at 160.

To be fair he had a small aura of teak tough brutality post the Lara fight. Deep down inside you knew he wouldn't last but it was fun to watch him bulldoze while it worked.

Hurd is done. He just doesn't have the skills. As big as he is compared to guys he is fighting you'd think he could crack harder but he is average. Add in a very poor boxing skill and he doesn't look like he will be around for long.
