    Not Murray? :think

    I must have missed something.

Anyway, whichever opponent is too much for Left Jab to conquer with his namesake alone (which is all he really brings to offer at that level).

Only difference is that Bursak decisions him where Murray would've stopped him.

According to the Daily Mail (fairly reliable paper) Murray has got a "re-match" with Sturm! Mein Gott!

Bursak v Fletcher will be competitive.
I don't think fletcher is as hopeless as the quick ko loss to BJS would suggest.
He has some cause for claiming very hard luck there. That result really flatters BJS.
Neither are punchers so I would expect a points win for Max. Bursak is Just tougher, better, more well rounded IMO.

Perhaps he will Podgorica. Say isn't that the name of a place in Croatia,or Bosnia or Montenegro? I seem to remember being there years ago, :p

I certainly don't limit the basis my opinion to just the ill-fated excursion to challenge for the Commonwealth title. It was a level and stage too much for Jarrod, but he is by no means a terrible fighter and is quite handily the best Oz middleweight below the world class tier with a bit of cushion between himself and the likes of Hogan (much as BJS himself is the best in the UK)

He can probably have a few good moments, and Bursak is by no means unbeatable for anyone who falls short of world class (he recently got a hometown gift over Nick Blackwell, another BJS conquest...) - but convincingly outpointing Bursak will take some doing. Bursak is a big strong natural middleweight unlike any Fletcher has seen at home (Suico is a bad little dude but a natural super feather and was over his prime weight in the Juan Diaz loss, FFS), is a product of the Ukrainian amateur system (which, no offense, blows Australia's clear into next week) with a 195-5 record, and will be either the best or close 2nd best opponent Fletcher has ever faced...while you can argue that Fletcher is only the fifth or sixth best opponent Bursak will have faced.

Bursak deserved the nod against Blackwell (and That's coming from someone who wanted Nick to win). No way was it a hometown gift.

Bursak will be harder to beat than Murray, who's a $$$ ****** these days :p Murray paid WBA special fee to retain him as its Interim titlist after he got done in WBC title challemge. Naturally, WBA's greed had no problem with it

Bursak is one of those guys who has been a slow steady improver over the years. The kind of guy who comes in under the radar a bit. Lots of people have probably slept on him a bit I feel. His weakness is speed, hence Hassan n'Dam beat him fairly easily. Fletcher is a lot more wooden and stiff than HNN though, and Bursak should get past him, probably on points.
But people going by the result on boxrec against BJS are certainly underestimating Fletcher.

Well, at the end of the day it was close and quite a difficult night for Maksym which is unflattering itself for Bursak as he is supposed to be a level above the likes of Blackwell. I'm not entirely sure he would've scraped it outside Ukraine. :conf Maybe hometown gift is harsh but he didn't separate himself, whether he fought down to his opponent's perceived level or Nick simply rose above his station, or maybe it was just a bothersome match-up stylistically.

Both are underrated, certainly by anyone whose only familiarity with them is limited to seeing each man once in those respective losses.

Neither will ever be a serious threat challenging for world titles, however. (not that saying that is any great shame for any professional boxer; only the very cream of the crop get that high)

Bursak is no harder than Murray for anybody, ever.

Bursak is a good middleweight, and Murray is very good.

Look at all the guys Fletcher fought and beat in 2013:

Kiatchai Singwancha- 323rd ranked middleweight in the world. Has lost 2 of his 4 fights in 2013 since fighting Fletcher. Has never beaten anyone of note. Got knocked out in 1 min 7 seconds against Shannan Taylor in 2009.

Randy Suico (for the PABA Middleweight title)- Had lost 5 of his past 8 fights since 2008 at the time he fought Fletcher. Rated 143rd in the world as a welterweight.

Phillip Kotey- Pro record of 28 and 6 at the time of fighting Fletcher. 85% of those fights were in Ghana. 452nd ranked middleweight in the world.

Tim Kanofski- Had lost 5 of 8 fights since 2010 at the time of fighting Fletcher. Pro record was 12 and 6. Only title he's won is the Queensland Super Middleweight Title. Has lost every other minor title fight. Ranked 300th in the world in light heavyweight.

So if these are the guys Fletcher has been fighting, how did Fletcher score a number 4 WBA ranking and how did he score a fight against Murray and now Bursak (who has a pro record of 29-1 and a string of Continental and European Titles behind him)? Is it because he won the PABA Middleweight title, which Sam Soliman has since won?

Next question: If Soliman has since won the same belt Fletcher did, why is Soliman ranked number 15 in the WBA to Fletcher's 4? Soliman is a long time #1 IBF ranked mandatory with a string of wins over highly rated boxers, and he's now won the same title Fletcher did. And Fletcher has beaten nobodies. So why doesn't Soliman jump further up the WBA Rankings?
